Luke 12

Meanwhile, when a crowd of many thousands had gathered, so that they were trampling on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, saying: “Be^[a] on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

Тем временем собрались огромные толпы, и люди теснили друг друга. Иса начал говорить, обращаясь сначала к Своим ученикам:

– Берегитесь закваски блюстителей Закона, то есть лицемерия.

There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.

Нет ничего скрытого, что не открылось бы, и нет ничего тайного, что не стало бы известным.

What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.

Поэтому, то что вы говорите в темноте, будет услышано при свете дня, и что вы прошептали на ухо во внутренней комнате, будет провозглашено с крыш.

Страх только перед Аллахом

“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more.

– Я говорю вам, Моим друзьям: не бойтесь тех, кто убивает тело и ничего больше сделать не может.

But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.

Я скажу вам, кого бояться: бойтесь Аллаха, Который, убив, может бросить вас в ад. Да, говорю вам, Его бойтесь.

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.

Не продают ли пять воробьёв всего за две медные монеты^[a]? Однако ни один из них не забыт Аллахом.

Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

А у вас даже и волосы на голове все сосчитаны! Не бойтесь – вы дороже множества воробьёв!

Бесстрашное признание Исы Масиха

“I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God.

– Говорю вам: каждого, кто открыто признает Меня перед людьми, того и Ниспосланный как Человек признает перед ангелами Аллаха,

But whoever disowns me before others will be disowned before the angels of God.

а кто отречётся от Меня перед людьми, от того и Я отрекусь перед ангелами Аллаха.

And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

Всякий, кто скажет что-либо против Ниспосланного как Человек, будет прощён, но тот, кто кощунствует над Святым Духом, не будет прощён.

“When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say,

Когда вас приведут на суд в молитвенные дома иудеев, к правителям и власть имущим, не беспокойтесь о том, как вам защитить себя или что вам говорить,

for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.”

The Parable of the Rich Fool

потому что Святой Дух в тот самый час научит вас, что вам говорить.

Притча о безумном богаче

Someone in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the inheritance with me.”

Кто-то в толпе сказал Исе:

– Учитель, скажи моему брату, чтобы он разделил со мной наследство.

Jesus replied, “Man, who appointed me a judge or an arbiter between you?”

Иса ответил:

– Друг, кто Меня назначил судьёй или посредником между вами?

Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.”

И Он сказал им:

– Смотрите, берегитесь жадности. Как бы ни был богат человек, его жизнь от этого не зависит.

And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest.

И Он рассказал им притчу:

– Земля одного богатого человека принесла ему хороший урожай.

He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’

«Что мне делать? Мне негде хранить весь собранный урожай, – подумал он. –

“Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain.

Вот что я сделаю, – решил он тогда, – я снесу мои хранилища и построю большие, в них будет достаточно места для моего зерна и другого имущества.

And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’

Тогда я смогу сказать себе: теперь у тебя полно добра на много лет. Отдыхай, ешь, пей, веселись».

“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’

Но Аллах сказал ему: «Глупец! Сегодня же ночью твою жизнь возьмут у тебя. Кому достанется всё, что ты приготовил?»

“This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

Do Not Worry

Так будет с каждым, кто копит богатство для себя, но не приобретает богатства для Аллаха.

О беспокойстве

Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear.

Затем Иса сказал Своим ученикам:

– Поэтому Я говорю вам: не тревожьтесь о своей жизни, что вам есть, или о своём теле, во что вам одеться.

For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes.

Ведь жизнь важнее пищи, и тело важнее одежды.

Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds!

Посмотрите на воронов, они не сеют и не жнут, у них нет ни хранилищ, ни амбаров, однако Аллах питает их. Насколько же вы ценнее этих птиц!

Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life^[b]?

И кто из вас, беспокоясь, может продлить себе жизнь хотя бы на час?

Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?

Если вы не можете сделать даже этого, то зачем вам тревожиться об остальном?

“Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

Подумайте о том, как растут лилии. Они не трудятся и не прядут, но говорю вам, что даже царь Сулейман во всём своём величии не одевался так, как любая из них.

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you—you of little faith!

Но если Аллах так одевает траву на поле, которая сегодня есть, а завтра будет брошена в печь, то не оденет ли Он и вас, маловеры?

And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it.

Не беспокойтесь о том, что вам есть или что пить, не тревожьтесь об этом.

For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them.

Ведь все язычники этого мира только об этом и думают, но ваш Небесный Отец знает, что вы нуждаетесь в этом.

But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.

Ищите лучше Его Царства, и это тоже будет дано вам.

“Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.

Не бойся, малое стадо, ведь вашему Небесному Отцу было угодно дать вам Царство!

Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.

Продавайте ваше имущество и давайте милостыню. Приобретайте себе такие кошельки, которые не изнашиваются, сокровища на небесах, где ни вор к ним не подберётся, ни моль их не съест.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Watchfulness

Ведь где ваше богатство, там будет и ваше сердце.

Притча о верных слугах

“Be dressed ready for service and keep your lamps burning,

– Будьте всегда наготове: одежды подпоясаны, а светильники горящие,

like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him.

как у тех рабов, что ждут возвращения своего хозяина со свадебного пира. Когда хозяин придёт и постучит, они смогут сразу открыть ему.

It will be good for those servants whose master finds them watching when he comes. Truly I tell you, he will dress himself to serve, will have them recline at the table and will come and wait on them.

Благословенны те рабы, которых хозяин, возвратившись, найдёт бодрствующими. Говорю вам истину, он тогда сам подпояшется, как раб, пригласит их возлечь у стола и будет прислуживать им.

It will be good for those servants whose master finds them ready, even if he comes in the middle of the night or toward daybreak.

Благословенны те рабы, которых хозяин застанет готовыми, даже если он придёт среди ночи или перед рассветом.

But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would not have let his house be broken into.

Знайте, что если бы хозяин дома знал, в котором часу придёт вор, то он не позволил бы ему проникнуть в свой дом.

You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”

Вы тоже должны быть готовы, потому что Ниспосланный как Человек придёт в час, когда вы Его не ждёте.

Peter asked, “Lord, are you telling this parable to us, or to everyone?”

Петир спросил:

– Повелитель, Ты говоришь эту притчу только нам или всем?

The Lord answered, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager, whom the master puts in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time?

Иса ответил:

– Кто тогда окажется верным и разумным управляющим, которого хозяин поставил над остальными рабами, чтобы вовремя раздавать им пищу?

It will be good for that servant whom the master finds doing so when he returns.

Благословен тот раб, которого хозяин, когда вернётся, найдёт поступающим так.

Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

Говорю вам правду: он доверит ему всё своё имение.

But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the other servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk.

Но если тот раб решит: «Мой хозяин придёт ещё не скоро» – и станет избивать рабов и рабынь, есть, пить и пьянствовать,

The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers.

то придёт его хозяин в тот день, когда он не ожидает, и в тот час, когда он не знает. Он рассечёт его надвое и определит ему одну участь с неверными.

“The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows.

Тот раб, который знал волю своего хозяина и не приготовился, или не сделал того, что хотел хозяин, будет сильно бит,

But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.

Not Peace but Division

а тот, кто делает достойное наказания по незнанию, будет бит меньше. Кому было много дано, с того много и потребуют, и кому было много доверено, с того много и спросится.

О будущих разделениях

“I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!

– Я пришёл принести огонь на землю, и как Я хочу, чтобы он уже разгорелся!

But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed!

Но Мне ещё предстоит пройти через тяжёлые испытания, и как Я томлюсь, пока это не совершится!

Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division.

Вы думаете, Я пришёл, чтобы принести на землю мир? Нет, говорю вам, не мир, а разделение.

From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three.

Семья из пяти человек разделится: трое против двоих и двое против троих.

They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.”

Interpreting the Times

Отец будет против сына и сын против отца, мать против дочери и дочь против матери, свекровь против невестки и невестка против свекрови.^[b]

О приметах времени

He said to the crowd: “When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, ‘It’s going to rain,’ and it does.

Иса опять обратился к народу:

– Когда вы видите облако на западе, вы сразу говорите, что будет дождь, и, действительно, идёт дождь.

And when the south wind blows, you say, ‘It’s going to be hot,’ and it is.

И когда дует южный ветер, вы говорите – будет жарко, и так и бывает.

Hypocrites! You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky. How is it that you don’t know how to interpret this present time?

Лицемеры! Вы знаете, что означают приметы земли и неба, так почему же вы не знаете, какое настало время?

“Why don’t you judge for yourselves what is right?

Почему вы сами не рассудите, в чём истина?

As you are going with your adversary to the magistrate, try hard to be reconciled on the way, or your adversary may drag you off to the judge, and the judge turn you over to the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.

Когда ты идёшь со своим обвинителем в суд, постарайся примириться с ним ещё по пути, иначе он притащит тебя к судье, тот отдаст тебя стражнику, а стражник бросит тебя в темницу.

I tell you, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.”

Говорю тебе, что ты не выйдешь оттуда, пока не выплатишь всё до самого последнего гроша^[c].
