Leviticus 18

The Lord said to Moses,

Вечный сказал Мусе:

“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘I am the Lord your God.

– Говори с исраильтянами и скажи им: «Я – Вечный, ваш Бог.

You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices.

Не поступайте, как поступают в Египте, где вы жили, и в земле Ханаана, куда Я вас веду. Не следуйте их обычаям.

You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the Lord your God.

Соблюдайте Мои законы и прилежно исполняйте Мои установления. Я – Вечный, ваш Бог.

Keep my decrees and laws, for the person who obeys them will live by them. I am the Lord.

Исполняйте Мои установления и законы, потому что тот, кто соблюдает их, будет жив благодаря им. Я – Вечный.

“‘No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations. I am the Lord.

Пусть никто не приближается ни к какой из близких родственниц, чтобы иметь с ней половые отношения. Я – Вечный.

“‘Do not dishonor your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother; do not have relations with her.

Не позорь отца, вступив в половые отношения с матерью. Она – твоя мать, не вступай в половые отношения с ней.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with your father’s wife; that would dishonor your father.

Не имей половые отношения с другой женой твоего отца – это бесчестие для него.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere.

Не вступай в половые отношения со своей родной, единокровной или единоутробной сестрой, родилась ли она в том же доме, что и ты, или нет.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter; that would dishonor you.

Не вступай в половые отношения со своей внучкой – это бесчестие для тебя.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father’s wife, born to your father; she is your sister.

Не вступай в половые отношения с дочерью жены твоего отца, рождённой твоему отцу: она твоя единокровная сестра.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with your father’s sister; she is your father’s close relative.

Не вступай в половые отношения с сестрой отца: она его близкая родственница.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, because she is your mother’s close relative.

Не вступай в половые отношения с сестрой матери, ведь она её близкая родственница.

“‘Do not dishonor your father’s brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations; she is your aunt.

Не позорь брата отца, приближаясь к его жене, чтобы иметь половые отношения с ней: она твоя тётя.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife; do not have relations with her.

Не вступай в половые отношения со своей снохой. Она жена твоего сына; не имей половые отношения с ней.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife; that would dishonor your brother.

Не вступай в половые отношения с невесткой, женой своего брата, – это бесчестие для него.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. Do not have sexual relations with either her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter; they are her close relatives. That is wickedness.

Не вступай в половые отношения и с женою, и с её дочерью, твоей падчерицей. Не вступай в половые отношения с дочерью её сына или дочери: они её близкие родственники. Это разврат.

“‘Do not take your wife’s sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is living.

Не бери в жёны свояченицу, сестру своей жены, чтобы она не стала ей соперницей; не вступай в половые отношения с ней, пока жива твоя жена.

“‘Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness of her monthly period.

Не приближайся к женщине, чтобы иметь с ней половые отношения, когда она нечиста из-за месячных.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife and defile yourself with her.

Не вступай в половые отношения с женой другого, не оскверняй себя.

“‘Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord.

Не отдавай своих детей Молоху^[a], не бесчести имени своего Бога. Я – Вечный.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

Не ложись с мужчиной, как с женщиной – это мерзость.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.

Не совокупляйся с животным, не оскверняй себя. Женщине нельзя становиться перед животным для совокупления – это извращение.

“‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.

Не оскверняйте себя ничем этим, потому что так осквернили себя народы, которых Я от вас прогоняю.

Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants.

Земля осквернилась, Я наказал её за грех, и она исторгла своих обитателей.

But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things,

Исполняйте Мои установления и законы. Пусть ни уроженцы страны, ни живущие у вас чужеземцы не делают этих мерзостей.

for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled.

Всё это делали те, кто жил в этой земле до вас, и земля осквернилась.

And if you defile the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you.

Если вы оскверните землю, она извергнет вас, как извергла народы, которые были до вас.

“‘Everyone who does any of these detestable things—such persons must be cut off from their people.

Любой, кто сделает что-либо из этих мерзостей, будет исторгнут из своего народа.

Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.’”

Соблюдайте Мои повеления и не следуйте отвратительным обычаям, которые были до вас, не оскверняйтесь ими. Я – Вечный, ваш Бог».
