Verse 1

This is the account of the family line of Esau (that is, Edom).

Вот родословие Есава (он же Эдом).

Verse 2

Esau took his wives from the women of Canaan: Adah daughter of Elon the Hittite, and Oholibamah daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon the Hivite—

Есав взял себе жён из Ханаана: Аду, дочь хетта Елона, Оливему, дочь Анаха и внучку хивея Цивеона,

Verse 3

also Basemath daughter of Ishmael and sister of Nebaioth.

а также Басемафу, дочь Исмаила, сестру Навайота.

Verse 4

Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, Basemath bore Reuel,

Ада родила Есаву Елифаза, Басемафа родила Рагуила,

Verse 5

and Oholibamah bore Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These were the sons of Esau, who were born to him in Canaan.

Оливема родила Иеуша, Иалама и Кораха. Это сыновья Есава, рождённые ему в Ханаане.

Verse 6

Esau took his wives and sons and daughters and all the members of his household, as well as his livestock and all his other animals and all the goods he had acquired in Canaan, and moved to a land some distance from his brother Jacob.

Есав взял своих жён, сыновей, дочерей и всех домашних, взял стада, и скот, и всё имущество, которое он приобрёл в Ханаане, и перебрался в другую землю на некоторое расстояние от своего брата Якуба,

Verse 7

Their possessions were too great for them to remain together; the land where they were staying could not support them both because of their livestock.

потому что у них было слишком много добра, чтобы им оставаться вместе. У них было столько скота, что земля, где они жили пришельцами, не могла прокормить их обоих.

Verse 8

So Esau (that is, Edom) settled in the hill country of Seir.

Так Есав (он же Эдом) поселился в нагорьях Сеира.

Verse 9

This is the account of the family line of Esau the father of the Edomites in the hill country of Seir.

Вот родословие Есава, отца эдомитян, жившего в нагорьях Сеира.

Verse 10

These are the names of Esau’s sons:

Eliphaz, the son of Esau’s wife Adah, and Reuel, the son of Esau’s wife Basemath.

Вот имена сыновей Есава:

Елифаз, сын Есава от его жены Ады, Рагуил, сын Есава от его жены Басемафы.

Verse 11

The sons of Eliphaz:

Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenaz.

Сыновья Елифаза:

Теман, Омар, Цефо, Гатам и Кеназ.

Verse 12

Esau’s son Eliphaz also had a concubine named Timna, who bore him Amalek. These were grandsons of Esau’s wife Adah.

У сына Есава Елифаза была наложница по имени Тимна, которая родила ему Амалика. Это внуки жены Есава Ады.

Verse 13

The sons of Reuel:

Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were grandsons of Esau’s wife Basemath.

Сыновья Рагуила:

Нахат, Зерах, Шамма и Миза. Это внуки жены Есава Басемафы.

Verse 14

The sons of Esau’s wife Oholibamah daughter of Anah and granddaughter of Zibeon, whom she bore to Esau:

Jeush, Jalam and Korah.

Сыновья Есава от его жены Оливемы, дочери Анаха и внучки Цивеона, которых она родила Есаву:

Иеуш, Иалам и Корах.

Verse 15

These were the chiefs among Esau’s descendants:

The sons of Eliphaz the firstborn of Esau:

Chiefs Teman, Omar, Zepho, Kenaz,

Вот вожди среди потомков Есава.

Сыновья Елифаза, первенца Есава:

вожди Теман, Омар, Цефо, Кеназ,

Verse 16

Korah,^[a] Gatam and Amalek. These were the chiefs descended from Eliphaz in Edom; they were grandsons of Adah.

Корах, Гатам и Амалик. Это вожди, произошедшие от Елифаза в Эдоме; они были внуками Ады.

Verse 17

The sons of Esau’s son Reuel:

Chiefs Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah. These were the chiefs descended from Reuel in Edom; they were grandsons of Esau’s wife Basemath.

Сыновья Рагуила, сына Есава:

вожди Нахат, Зерах, Шамма и Миза. Это вожди, произошедшие от Рагуила в Эдоме; они были внуками жены Есава Басемафы.

Verse 18

The sons of Esau’s wife Oholibamah:

Chiefs Jeush, Jalam and Korah. These were the chiefs descended from Esau’s wife Oholibamah daughter of Anah.

Сыновья Есава от его жены Оливемы:

вожди Иеуш, Иалам и Корах. Это вожди, произошедшие от жены Есава Оливемы, дочери Анаха.

Verse 19

These were the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these were their chiefs.

Вот сыновья Есава (он же Эдом) и вот их вожди.

Verse 20

These were the sons of Seir the Horite, who were living in the region:

Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

Вот сыновья Сеира хорреянина, жившие в той области:

Лотан, Шовал, Цивеон, Анах,

Verse 21

Dishon, Ezer and Dishan. These sons of Seir in Edom were Horite chiefs.

Дишон, Ецер и Дишан. Эти сыновья Сеира в Эдоме были вождями хорреев.

Verse 22

The sons of Lotan:

Hori and Homam.^[b] Timna was Lotan’s sister.

Сыновья Лотана:

Хори и Гомам. Тимна была сестрой Лотана.

Verse 23

The sons of Shobal:

Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho and Onam.

Сыновья Шовала:

Алван, Манахат, Евал, Шефо и Онам.

Verse 24

The sons of Zibeon:

Aiah and Anah. This is the Anah who discovered the hot springs^[c] in the desert while he was grazing the donkeys of his father Zibeon.

Сыновья Цивеона:

Ай и Анах. Это тот Анах, который открыл в пустыне горячие ключи, когда пас ослов своего отца Цивеона.

Verse 25

The children of Anah:

Dishon and Oholibamah daughter of Anah.

Verse 26

The sons of Dishon^[d]:

Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran and Keran.

Сыновья Дишона:

Хемдан, Эшбан, Ифран и Херан.

Verse 27

The sons of Ezer:

Bilhan, Zaavan and Akan.

Билган, Зааван и Акан.

Verse 28

The sons of Dishan:

Uz and Aran.

These were the Horite chiefs:

Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,

Verse 30

Dishon, Ezer and Dishan. These were the Horite chiefs, according to their divisions, in the land of Seir.

The Rulers of Edom

Дишон, Ецер и Дишан. Они были вождями хорреев, по родам их в земле Сеир.

These were the kings who reigned in Edom before any Israelite king reigned:

Bela son of Beor became king of Edom. His city was named Dinhabah.

Бела, сын Беора, был царём в Эдоме. Его город назывался Динхава.

Verse 33

When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah succeeded him as king.

После смерти Белы царём вместо него стал Иовав, сын Зераха, из Боцры.

Verse 34

When Jobab died, Husham from the land of the Temanites succeeded him as king.

После смерти Иовава царём вместо него стал Хушам из земли теманитян.

Verse 35

When Husham died, Hadad son of Bedad, who defeated Midian in the country of Moab, succeeded him as king. His city was named Avith.

После смерти Хушама царём вместо него стал Хадад, сын Бедада, который разбил мадианитян в земле Моава. Его город назывался Авит.

Verse 36

When Hadad died, Samlah from Masrekah succeeded him as king.

После смерти Хадада царём вместо него стал Самла из Масреки.

Verse 37

When Samlah died, Shaul from Rehoboth on the river succeeded him as king.

После смерти Самлы царём вместо него стал Шаул из Реховота, что у реки^[a].

Verse 38

When Shaul died, Baal-Hanan son of Akbor succeeded him as king.

После смерти Шаула царём вместо него стал Баал-Ханан, сын Ахбора.

Verse 39

When Baal-Hanan son of Akbor died, Hadad^[e] succeeded him as king. His city was named Pau, and his wife’s name was Mehetabel daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-Zahab.

После смерти Баал-Ханана, сына Ахбора, царём вместо него стал Хадад. Его город назывался Пау, а имя его жены было Мехетавиль; она была дочерью Матреды, внучкой Мезахава.

Verse 40

These were the chiefs descended from Esau, by name, according to their clans and regions:

Timna, Alvah, Jetheth,

Вот имена вождей – потомков Есава, по их кланам и землям:

Тимна, Алва, Иетет,

Verse 41

Oholibamah, Elah, Pinon,

Оливема, Ела, Пинон,

Verse 42

Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,

Кеназ, Теман, Мивцар,

Verse 43

Magdiel and Iram. These were the chiefs of Edom, according to their settlements in the land they occupied.

This is the family line of Esau, the father of the Edomites.

Магдиил и Ирам.

Это вожди Эдома, по их поселениям в земле, которой они владеют.

Это был Есав – отец эдомитян.
