A good name is better than fine perfume,

In this meaningless life of mine I have seen both of these:
the righteous perishing in their righteousness,
and the wicked living long in their wickedness.
В моей пустой жизни я видел всякое:
праведника, гибнущего в своей праведности,
и нечестивого, живущего долго в своём беззаконии.
