2 Thessalonians 2

Concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to him, we ask you, brothers and sisters,

Что касается прихода нашего Повелителя Исы Масиха и того, как мы будем собраны к Нему, то мы просим вас, братья,

not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.

не спешите верить всему и не тревожьтесь ни от какого духа, слуха или письма, якобы написанного нами, которые говорят, что день Вечного Повелителя уже пришёл.

Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness^[a] is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.

Смотрите, чтобы вас никто не ввёл в заблуждение никаким образом: день этот не придёт до тех пор, пока не произойдёт великое отступление от Аллаха и не откроется человек зла^[a], осуждённый на погибель.

He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

Он будет противостоять всему, что называют божеством или святыней, и превозноситься над этим. Он даже займёт место в храме Аллаха^[b] и будет выдавать себя за Него.^[c]

Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things?

Разве вы не помните, что, когда я был у вас, я говорил вам об этом?

And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time.

Теперь вы знаете, что сдерживает этого человека, не позволяя ему открыться до того, как настанет его время.

For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.

Тайные силы зла уже в действии, но сначала должен уйти с дороги тот, кто пока ещё сдерживает их.^[d]

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.

Тогда человек зла проявит себя. Но Повелитель Иса истребит его Своим дыханием, уничтожит славой Своего пришествия.^[e]

The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie,

Приход человека зла – это дело Шайтана. Он будет действовать, являя разнообразные силы, ложные знамения и чудеса

and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

и совершая всякие злостные обманы, которым с лёгкостью поддадутся люди, погибающие из-за того, что не захотели полюбить истину и получить через неё спасение^[f].

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie

Потому и посылает Аллах таким людям сильное заблуждение, чтобы они поверили лжи,

and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Stand Firm

для того, чтобы были осуждены те, кто не поверил истине и полюбил грех.

Слова ободрения

But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits^[b] to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.

Нам следует всегда благодарить Аллаха за вас, братья, любимые Повелителем, потому что Он ещё от начала избрал вас^[g] ко спасению через освящение Духом и через вашу веру в истину.

He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Он призвал вас к этому через наше возвещение Радостной Вести, чтобы вы разделили славу нашего Повелителя Исы Масиха.

So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings^[c] we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

Поэтому, братья, стойте твёрдо и будьте верны учению, которое мы вам передали и на словах, и в нашем письме.

May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope,

Пусть Сам наш Повелитель Иса Масих и Аллах, Небесный Отец наш, Который полюбил нас и по благодати дал нам вечное утешение и светлую надежду,

encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

утешит ваши сердца и укрепит вас на всякое доброе дело и слово.
