1 Timothy 4

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

Дух Аллаха ясно говорит о том, что в последние времена некоторые оставят веру, будут следовать духам лжи и учениям демонов.

Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.

Такие учения придут через лицемерие бессовестных лжецов^[a],

They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.

которые запрещают людям жениться, запрещают употреблять те или иные виды пищи, созданной Аллахом для того, чтобы верующие и знающие истину ели с благодарностью.

For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving,

Всё сотворённое Аллахом хорошо, и всё, что принимается с благодарностью, не должно отвергаться,

because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.

потому что оно освящается словом Аллаха и молитвой.

If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters,^[a] you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.

Если ты, Тиметей, будешь говорить об этом братьям, то будешь хорошим служителем Исы Масиха, питаемым словами веры и здравого учения, которому ты последовал.

Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.

Не трать время на безбожные россказни, пристойные разве что старухам, а развивай в себе благочестие.

For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

Есть определённая польза в физических упражнениях, но благочестие полезно во всём, ведь оно обещает жизнь и в настоящем, и в будущем.

This is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance.

Это слово правильно и достоверно.

That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.

Ради этого мы и трудимся, и ведём борьбу, потому что надеемся на живого Бога, Спасителя всех людей, а особенно тех, кто верен Ему.

Command and teach these things.

Этого требуй от людей и этому учи их.

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

Не позволяй никому смотреть на тебя с пренебрежением из-за твоей молодости. Будь для последователей Исы Масиха примером в словах, в жизни, любви, вере и чистоте.

Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.

Пока я не приду, занимайся чтением Писания вслух перед общиной, проповедью, учительством.

Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you.

Не пренебрегай даром, который был дан тебе через пророчество с возложением рук старейшин.

Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.

Будь усерден во всём этом, посвяти себя этому, чтобы все видели твой успех.

Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

Следи за собой и за тем, чему ты учишь. Будь верен этому учению, и если ты так будешь поступать, то спасёшь и себя, и тех, кто слушает тебя.
