1 Peter 3

Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives,

Также и вы, жёны, будьте послушны мужьям, чтобы, если те и не повинуются слову, были бы без слова покорены Аллаху поведением своих жён,

when they see the purity and reverence of your lives.

видя вашу чистую и богобоязненную жизнь.

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.

Пусть ваша красота будет не внешней, зависящей от пышных причёсок, от золота или от роскошной одежды.

Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

Ведь Аллах ценит внутреннюю красоту человека, неувядаемую красоту кроткого и тихого духа.

For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands,

Так украшали себя в прошлом святые женщины, которые надеялись на Аллаха, повинуясь своим мужьям.

like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

Так Сарра была послушна Ибрахиму и называла его господином.^[a] И вы стали её детьми, делая добро и не поддаваясь никакому страху.

Husbands, in the same way be considerate as you live with your wives, and treat them with respect as the weaker partner and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.

Suffering for Doing Good

Подобным образом и вы, мужья, с пониманием относитесь к жёнам, как к более слабым. Уважайте их, зная, что они получили в наследие тот же дар жизни, что и вы, – тогда ничто не будет препятствовать вашим молитвам.

Страдания за праведность

Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.

Наконец, живите в согласии друг с другом, сострадайте друг другу, любите друг друга, как братья, будьте милосердны и скромны.

Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.

Не платите злом за зло и оскорблением за оскорбление, напротив, благословляйте, потому что вы к этому призваны, чтобы наследовать благословение.

For,

Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?

Кто причинит вам зло, если вы будете стремиться делать добро?

But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats^[b]; do not be frightened.”^[c]

А если вы страдаете за правду – вы благословенны. Не бойтесь их, и пусть ничто вас не пугает,

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

но свято почитайте в ваших сердцах Масиха как Повелителя.^[c] Будьте всегда готовы ответить, когда вас спрашивают о вашей надежде, но делайте это с кротостью, страхом

keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

и с чистой совестью, чтобы те, кто клевещет на вас и бранит ваше доброе поведение, как последователей Масиха, были посрамлены.

For it is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

Лучше уж страдать за добрые дела, если на то есть воля Аллаха, чем за злые.

For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.

Ведь и Масих умер за грехи один раз, праведный за неправедных, чтобы привести вас к Аллаху. Его тело было умерщвлено, но Он был оживлён Духом,

After being made alive,^[d] he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits—

в Котором Он пошёл и проповедовал духам, содержащимся в неволе,

to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water,

к тем, кто некогда проявил свою непокорность. Аллах терпеливо призывал их в дни Нуха, пока строился ковчег, в котором немногие, всего восемь человек, были спасены по воде.^[d]

and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.^[e] It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

И это символизирует обряд погружения в воду^[e], который сейчас спасает и вас через силу воскресения Исы Масиха и является не смыванием грязи с тела, но обещанием Аллаху доброй совести^[f].

who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.

Поднявшись в небеса, Масих находится по правую руку от Аллаха,^[g] и Ему подчинены ангелы, власти и силы.
