Verse 1

All Israel was listed in the genealogies recorded in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. They were taken captive to Babylon because of their unfaithfulness.

The People in Jerusalem

Verse 2

Now the first to resettle on their own property in their own towns were some Israelites, priests, Levites and temple servants.

Первыми, кто вернулся к своим владениям в своих городах, были простые исраильтяне, священнослужители, левиты и служители при храме.

Verse 3

Those from Judah, from Benjamin, and from Ephraim and Manasseh who lived in Jerusalem were:

Verse 4

Uthai son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, a descendant of Perez son of Judah.

Утай, сын Аммихуда, сына Омри, сына Имри, сына Бани, потомка Фареца, сына Иуды.

Verse 5

Of the Shelanites^[a]:

Asaiah the firstborn and his sons.

Из шилонитян:

первенец Асая и его сыновья.

Verse 6

Of the Zerahites:

Jeuel.

The people from Judah numbered 690.

Из потомков Зераха:

Иеуил.

От Иуды было шестьсот девяносто человек.

Verse 7

Of the Benjamites:

Sallu son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah;

Из потомков Вениамина:

Саллу, сын Мешуллама, внук Годавии, правнук Ассенуа;

Verse 8

Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi, the son of Mikri; and Meshullam son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Ibnijah.

Ивнея, сын Иерохама; Ела, сын Уззия, внук Михри; и Мешуллам, сын Шефатии, внук Рагуила, правнук Ивнии.

Verse 9

The people from Benjamin, as listed in their genealogy, numbered 956. All these men were heads of their families.

От Вениамина, по их родословиям, было девятьсот пятьдесят шесть человек. Все эти люди были главами своих семейств.

Verse 10

Of the priests:

Jedaiah; Jehoiarib; Jakin;

Verse 11

Azariah son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the official in charge of the house of God;

и Азария, сын Хилкии, сына Мешуллама, сына Цадока, сына Мерайота, сына Ахитува, главы дома Аллаха;

Verse 12

Adaiah son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malkijah; and Maasai son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer.

Адая, сын Иерохама, сына Пашхура, сына Малхии; Маасай, сын Адиила, сына Иахзера, сына Мешуллама, сына Мешиллемита, сына Иммера.

Verse 13

The priests, who were heads of families, numbered 1,760. They were able men, responsible for ministering in the house of God.

Священнослужителей, которые были главами своих семейств, было тысяча семьсот шестьдесят человек. Они были искусны в деле служения в доме Аллаха.

Verse 14

Of the Levites:

Shemaiah son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, a Merarite;

Из левитов:

Шемая, сын Хашува, сына Азрикама, сына Хашавии, потомка Мерари;

Verse 15

Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal and Mattaniah son of Mika, the son of Zikri, the son of Asaph;

Бакбаккар, Хереш, Галал и Маттания, сын Михи, сына Зихри, сына Асафа;

Verse 16

Obadiah son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berekiah son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.

Авдий, сын Шемаи, сына Галала, сына Иедутуна, и Берехия, сын Асы, сына Элканы, который жил в селениях нетофитян.

Verse 17

The gatekeepers:

Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman and their fellow Levites, Shallum their chief

Привратниками были:

Шаллум, Аккув, Талмон, Ахиман и их родичи. Шаллум был их главой.

Verse 18

being stationed at the King’s Gate on the east, up to the present time. These were the gatekeepers belonging to the camp of the Levites.

До сих пор его род стоит на страже у Царских ворот, что с восточной стороны. Это привратники, которые были из левитов.

Verse 19

Shallum son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his fellow gatekeepers from his family (the Korahites) were responsible for guarding the thresholds of the tent just as their ancestors had been responsible for guarding the entrance to the dwelling of the Lord.

Шаллуму, сыну Коре, внуку Авиасафа, правнуку Кораха, и привратникам из его родства (корахитам), которые несли службу вместе с ним, было доверено охранять пороги Шатра^[a], как их отцы охраняли вход в святилище Вечного.

Verse 20

In earlier times Phinehas son of Eleazar was the official in charge of the gatekeepers, and the Lord was with him.

В прежние времена Пинхас, сын Элеазара, был начальником над привратниками, и Вечный был с ним.

Verse 21

Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was the gatekeeper at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

Закария, сын Мешелемии, был привратником у входа в Шатёр Встречи.

Verse 22

Altogether, those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds numbered 212. They were registered by genealogy in their villages. The gatekeepers had been assigned to their positions of trust by David and Samuel the seer.

Всего в привратники было избрано двести двенадцать человек. Они были внесены в родословия по своим поселениям. На ответственные места привратников поставили Давуд и провидец Шемуил.

Verse 23

They and their descendants were in charge of guarding the gates of the house of the Lord—the house called the tent of meeting.

Им самим и их потомкам было доверено охранять ворота дома Вечного (именуемого Шатром).

Verse 24

The gatekeepers were on the four sides: east, west, north and south.

Привратники стояли с четырёх сторон – на востоке, на западе, на севере и на юге.

Verse 25

Their fellow Levites in their villages had to come from time to time and share their duties for seven-day periods.

Их сородичи в поселениях должны были время от времени приходить, чтобы делить с ними обязанности в течение семи дней.

Verse 26

But the four principal gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the responsibility for the rooms and treasuries in the house of God.

Но четырём главным привратникам, которые были левитами, были доверены комнаты и сокровища дома Аллаха.

Verse 27

They would spend the night stationed around the house of God, because they had to guard it; and they had charge of the key for opening it each morning.

Они проводили ночь возле дома Аллаха, потому что должны были охранять его и каждое утро отпирать двери.

Verse 28

Some of them were in charge of the articles used in the temple service; they counted them when they were brought in and when they were taken out.

Некоторым из них были доверены вещи, которыми пользовались при храмовой службе. Левиты пересчитывали их, когда принимали их и когда выдавали.

Verse 29

Others were assigned to take care of the furnishings and all the other articles of the sanctuary, as well as the special flour and wine, and the olive oil, incense and spices.

Другие были назначены заботиться об утвари и всех прочих вещах святилища, а также о лучшей муке и вине, масле, ароматах и благовониях.

Verse 30

But some of the priests took care of mixing the spices.

А некоторые из священнослужителей смешивали благовония.

Verse 31

A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the responsibility for baking the offering bread.

Левиту по имени Маттафия, первенцу корахита Шаллума, было доверено печь хлеб для приношений,

Verse 32

Some of the Kohathites, their fellow Levites, were in charge of preparing for every Sabbath the bread set out on the table.

а некоторым из их каафитских сородичей были вверены заботы о священном хлебе на каждую субботу.

Verse 33

Those who were musicians, heads of Levite families, stayed in the rooms of the temple and were exempt from other duties because they were responsible for the work day and night.

Музыканты, главы левитских семейств, жили в комнатах храма и были свободны от других обязанностей, потому что несли свою службу днём и ночью.

Verse 34

All these were heads of Levite families, chiefs as listed in their genealogy, and they lived in Jerusalem.

Все они были главами левитских семейств, вождями по своим родословиям, и жили в Иерусалиме.

Verse 35

Jeiel the father^[b] of Gibeon lived in Gibeon.

His wife’s name was Maakah,

Иеил, отец Гаваона, жил в Гаваоне. Его жену звали Мааха;

and his firstborn son was Abdon, followed by Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab,

а первенцем его был Авдон, после которого родились Цур, Киш, Баал, Нер, Надав,

Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah and Mikloth.

Гедор, Ахио, Закария и Миклот.

Verse 38

Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They too lived near their relatives in Jerusalem.

Миклот был отцом Шимеама. Они тоже жили в Иерусалиме рядом со своими сородичами.

Verse 39

Ner was the father of Kish, Kish the father of Saul, and Saul the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal.^[c]

Нер был отцом Киша; Киш – отцом Шаула; Шаул – отцом Ионафана, Малик-Шуа, Авинадава и Иш-Бошета.

Verse 40

The son of Jonathan:

Merib-Baal,^[d] who was the father of Micah.

Сын Ионафана:

Мефи-Бошет, который был отцом Михи.

Verse 41

The sons of Micah:

Pithon, Melek, Tahrea and Ahaz.^[e]

Сыновья Михи:

Пифон, Малик, Тареа и Ахаз.

Verse 42

Ahaz was the father of Jadah, Jadah^[f] was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri, and Zimri was the father of Moza.

Ахаз был отцом Иадды; Иадда – отцом Алемета, Азмавета и Зимри, а Зимри – отцом Моцы.

Verse 43

Moza was the father of Binea; Rephaiah was his son, Eleasah his son and Azel his son.

Моца был отцом Бинеа, сыном которого был Рефая, сыном которого был Элеаса, сыном которого был Ацель.

Verse 44

Azel had six sons, and these were their names:

Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. These were the sons of Azel.

У Ацеля было шесть сыновей. Вот их имена:

Азрикам, Бохру, Исмаил, Шеария, Авдий и Ханан. Это сыновья Ацеля.
