Leviticus 27

The Lord said to Moses,

“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘If anyone makes a special vow to dedicate a person to the Lord by giving the equivalent value,

– Говори с исраильтянами и скажи им: «Если кто-нибудь даст особый обет, чтобы посвятить на служение Вечному человека, заплатив за него столько, сколько он стоит,

set the value of a male between the ages of twenty and sixty at fifty shekels^[a] of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel^[b];

то оцени мужчину в возрасте между двадцатью и шестьюдесятью годами в шестьсот граммов серебра^[a].

for a female, set her value at thirty shekels^[c];

Если это женщина, то оцени её в триста шестьдесят граммов^[b] серебра.

for a person between the ages of five and twenty, set the value of a male at twenty shekels^[d] and of a female at ten shekels^[e];

Если возраст между пятью и двадцатью годами, то оцени мужчину в двести сорок граммов серебра, а женщину в сто двадцать граммов^[c] серебра.

for a person between one month and five years, set the value of a male at five shekels^[f] of silver and that of a female at three shekels^[g] of silver;

Если возраст между месяцем и пятью годами, то оцени мальчика в шестьдесят граммов серебра, а девочку в тридцать шесть граммов^[d] серебра.

for a person sixty years old or more, set the value of a male at fifteen shekels^[h] and of a female at ten shekels.

Если возраст – шестьдесят лет и больше, то оцени мужчину в сто восемьдесят граммов серебра, а женщину в сто двадцать граммов^[e] серебра.

If anyone making the vow is too poor to pay the specified amount, the person being dedicated is to be presented to the priest, who will set the value according to what the one making the vow can afford.

Если тот, кто дал обет, слишком беден, чтобы заплатить установленное, то пусть приведёт человека к священнослужителю, чтобы тот оценил его по достатку жертвующего.

“‘If what they vowed is an animal that is acceptable as an offering to the Lord, such an animal given to the Lord becomes holy.

Если по обету посвящают скот, который можно приносить в жертву Вечному, то животное, отданное Вечному, становится святыней.

They must not exchange it or substitute a good one for a bad one, or a bad one for a good one; if they should substitute one animal for another, both it and the substitute become holy.

Его нельзя ни менять, ни заменять хорошее на плохое, или плохое на хорошее. Если одно животное заменят другим, то оба они станут святыней.

If what they vowed is a ceremonially unclean animal—one that is not acceptable as an offering to the Lord—the animal must be presented to the priest,

Если по обету посвящают нечистое животное, которое нельзя приносить в жертву Вечному, то пусть его приведут к священнослужителю,

who will judge its quality as good or bad. Whatever value the priest then sets, that is what it will be.

который оценит его: хорошее оно или плохое, и какую оценку священнослужитель установит, такой она и будет.

If the owner wishes to redeem the animal, a fifth must be added to its value.

Если хозяин захочет выкупить животное, то пусть добавит к его стоимости пятую часть.

“‘If anyone dedicates their house as something holy to the Lord, the priest will judge its quality as good or bad. Whatever value the priest then sets, so it will remain.

Если человек посвящает Вечному свой дом, то священнослужитель оценит его: хорош он или плох, и какую оценку священнослужитель установит, такой она и будет.

If the one who dedicates their house wishes to redeem it, they must add a fifth to its value, and the house will again become theirs.

Если человек, который посвятил свой дом, захочет выкупить его, то пусть добавит к его стоимости её пятую часть, и дом опять станет принадлежать ему.

“‘If anyone dedicates to the Lord part of their family land, its value is to be set according to the amount of seed required for it—fifty shekels of silver to a homer^[i] of barley seed.

Если человек посвящает Вечному участок поля, которое отошло к нему по наследству, то его нужно оценить по тому, сколько для него требуется семян: за каждый участок, на котором можно засеять сто семьдесят килограммов ячменя – шестьсот граммов серебра^[f].

If they dedicate a field during the Year of Jubilee, the value that has been set remains.

Если он посвящает поле в юбилейный год, то эта оценка останется неизменной.

But if they dedicate a field after the Jubilee, the priest will determine the value according to the number of years that remain until the next Year of Jubilee, and its set value will be reduced.

А если он посвящает своё поле после юбилея, то пусть священнослужитель оценит его, взяв в расчёт количество лет, которые остались до следующего юбилейного года, и соответственно снизит оценку.

If the one who dedicates the field wishes to redeem it, they must add a fifth to its value, and the field will again become theirs.

Если человек, который посвятил поле, захочет выкупить его, то пусть добавит к его стоимости её пятую часть, и поле опять станет его.

If, however, they do not redeem the field, or if they have sold it to someone else, it can never be redeemed.

Но если поле не было выкуплено или было продано другому человеку, то выкупить его уже нельзя.

When the field is released in the Jubilee, it will become holy, like a field devoted to the Lord; it will become priestly property.

Когда такое поле освободится в юбилей, оно станет святыней, как поле, посвящённое Вечному; оно станет собственностью священнослужителей.

“‘If anyone dedicates to the Lord a field they have bought, which is not part of their family land,

Если человек посвящает Вечному поле, которое он купил, а не унаследовал,

the priest will determine its value up to the Year of Jubilee, and the owner must pay its value on that day as something holy to the Lord.

то пусть священнослужитель оценит его, взяв в расчёт количество лет, которые остались до следующего юбилейного года, и пусть стоимость будет выплачена в тот же день. Это священное пожертвование Вечному.

In the Year of Jubilee the field will revert to the person from whom it was bought, the one whose land it was.

В юбилейный год поле вернётся к человеку, у которого его купили, к тому, чьей наследной землёй оно было.

Every value is to be set according to the sanctuary shekel, twenty gerahs to the shekel.

Всё нужно оценивать по шекелю, установленной мере святилища: в одном шекеле двадцать гер^[g].

“‘No one, however, may dedicate the firstborn of an animal, since the firstborn already belongs to the Lord; whether an ox^[j] or a sheep, it is the Lord’s.

Но пусть никто не посвящает первородных из животных, потому что первенцы и так принадлежат Вечному; вол^[h] ли это или баран – они принадлежат Вечному.

If it is one of the unclean animals, it may be bought back at its set value, adding a fifth of the value to it. If it is not redeemed, it is to be sold at its set value.

Если это нечистое животное, то его можно выкупить, заплатив его стоимость по оценке и добавив к ней её пятую часть. Если его не выкупят, то его нужно продать за его стоимость.

“‘But nothing that a person owns and devotes^[k] to the Lord—whether a human being or an animal or family land—may be sold or redeemed; everything so devoted is most holy to the Lord.

Но никто не может ни продать, ни выкупить ничего из того, чем он владел и что безвозвратно посвятил Вечному, будь то человек, животное или наследная земля, – это всё великая святыня Вечного.

“‘No person devoted to destruction^[l] may be ransomed; they are to be put to death.

Человека, который был так посвящён, выкупить нельзя; его нужно предать смерти.

“‘A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.

Десятая часть от всех даров земли, зерна ли с земли или плодов с деревьев, принадлежит Вечному. Это святыня Вечного.

Whoever would redeem any of their tithe must add a fifth of the value to it.

Если человек захочет выкупить одну из своих десятин, то пусть он добавит к ней пятую часть её стоимости.

Every tithe of the herd and flock—every tenth animal that passes under the shepherd’s rod—will be holy to the Lord.

Все десятины из крупного и мелкого скота – каждое десятое животное, которое проходит под жезлом счетовода, – будут святыней Вечного.

No one may pick out the good from the bad or make any substitution. If anyone does make a substitution, both the animal and its substitute become holy and cannot be redeemed.’”

Пусть хозяин не разбирает, хорошее оно или плохое, и не делает никакой замены. Если он сделает замену, то оба животных станут святыней и не могут быть выкуплены».

These are the commands the Lord gave Moses at Mount Sinai for the Israelites.

Таковы повеления, которые Вечный дал Мусе для исраильтян на горе Синай.
