Deuteronomy 16

Observe the month of Aviv and celebrate the Passover of the Lord your God, because in the month of Aviv he brought you out of Egypt by night.

В месяце авиве (в начале весны) отмечай праздник Освобождения, в честь Вечного, твоего Бога, потому что в месяце авиве, ночью, Он вывел тебя из Египта.

Sacrifice as the Passover to the Lord your God an animal from your flock or herd at the place the Lord will choose as a dwelling for his Name.

В честь праздника принеси в жертву Вечному, твоему Богу, животное из мелкого или крупного рогатого скота на месте, которое Вечный выберет для поклонения Ему.

Do not eat it with bread made with yeast, but for seven days eat unleavened bread, the bread of affliction, because you left Egypt in haste—so that all the days of your life you may remember the time of your departure from Egypt.

Не ешь это мясо с дрожжевым хлебом, но семь дней ешь пресный хлеб, хлеб горя, чтобы ты всю жизнь вспоминал время исхода из Египта. Потому что ты покинул Египет в спешке.

Let no yeast be found in your possession in all your land for seven days. Do not let any of the meat you sacrifice on the evening of the first day remain until morning.

Пусть в твоём владении по всей земле семь дней не будет никакой закваски. Не оставляй до утра мясо, которое ты приносишь в жертву вечером первого дня.

You must not sacrifice the Passover in any town the Lord your God gives you

Ты не должен приносить жертву в честь праздника в каком-либо из городов, которые Вечный, твой Бог, даёт тебе,

except in the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name. There you must sacrifice the Passover in the evening, when the sun goes down, on the anniversary^[a] of your departure from Egypt.

кроме того места, которое Он выберет для поклонения Ему. Там ты должен принести праздничную жертву вечером, на заходе солнца, в годовщину твоего ухода из Египта^[a].

Roast it and eat it at the place the Lord your God will choose. Then in the morning return to your tents.

Приготовь и съешь её на месте, которое выберет Вечный, твой Бог. Утром вернись в свой шатёр.

For six days eat unleavened bread and on the seventh day hold an assembly to the Lord your God and do no work.

The Festival of Weeks

Шесть дней ешь пресный хлеб, а на седьмой день проведи собрание поклонения Вечному, твоему Богу, и не делай никакой работы.

Праздник Жатвы

Count off seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the standing grain.

Отсчитай семь недель со времени, когда ты начинаешь жать серпом в поле,

Then celebrate the Festival of Weeks to the Lord your God by giving a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings the Lord your God has given you.

и отмечай праздник Жатвы Вечному, твоему Богу, отдавая добровольное приношение в соответствии с благословениями, которые дал тебе Вечный, твой Бог.

And rejoice before the Lord your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, the Levites in your towns, and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows living among you.

И веселись перед Вечным, твоим Богом, на месте, которое Он выберет для поклонения Ему – ты, твои сыновья и дочери, слуги и служанки, левиты в твоих городах и чужеземцы, сироты и вдовы, живущие среди вас.

Remember that you were slaves in Egypt, and follow carefully these decrees.

The Festival of Tabernacles

Помни, что ты был рабом в Египте, и тщательно следуй этим установлениям.

Праздник Шалашей

Celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles for seven days after you have gathered the produce of your threshing floor and your winepress.

Отмечай праздник Шалашей семь дней после того, как соберёшь плоды со своих полей и виноградников.

Be joyful at your festival—you, your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, and the Levites, the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns.

Веселитесь на празднике – ты, твои сыновья и дочери, слуги и служанки, левиты, чужеземцы, сироты и вдовы, которые живут в твоих городах.

For seven days celebrate the festival to the Lord your God at the place the Lord will choose. For the Lord your God will bless you in all your harvest and in all the work of your hands, and your joy will be complete.

Семь дней отмечай праздник в честь Вечного, твоего Бога, на месте, которое выберет Вечный. Ведь Вечный, твой Бог, благословит тебя урожаем, а также во всех делах твоих рук, и ты будешь только радоваться.

Three times a year all your men must appear before the Lord your God at the place he will choose: at the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Weeks and the Festival of Tabernacles. No one should appear before the Lord empty-handed:

Три раза в год все мужчины должны приходить поклоняться Вечному, твоему Богу, на место, которое Он выберет: на праздник Пресных хлебов, на праздник Жатвы и на праздник Шалашей. Пусть никто не поклоняется Вечному с пустыми руками:

Each of you must bring a gift in proportion to the way the Lord your God has blessed you.

Judges

пусть каждый принесёт дар в соответствии с тем, насколько благословил его Вечный, твой Бог.

Судьи

Appoint judges and officials for each of your tribes in every town the Lord your God is giving you, and they shall judge the people fairly.

Назначь судей и начальников для каждого рода в каждом из городов, которые даёт тебе Вечный, твой Бог. Пусть они судят народ по справедливости.

Do not pervert justice or show partiality. Do not accept a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and twists the words of the innocent.

Не извращай правосудие и будь беспристрастным. Не бери взятки, потому что взятка ослепляет глаза мудрецов и искажает слова праведников.

Follow justice and justice alone, so that you may live and possess the land the Lord your God is giving you.

Worshiping Other Gods

Следуй правосудию и только правосудию, чтобы жить и владеть землёй, которую даёт тебе Вечный, твой Бог.

Служение другим богам

Do not set up any wooden Asherah pole beside the altar you build to the Lord your God,

Не ставь деревянный столб Ашеры^[b] у жертвенника, который ты построил Вечному, твоему Богу,

and do not erect a sacred stone, for these the Lord your God hates.

и не воздвигай священного камня, потому что Вечный, твой Бог, ненавидит всё это.
