Zechariah 11:6

For I will no longer have pity on the inhabitants of the land,” declares the Lord; “but behold, I will cause the men to fall, each into the hand of another and into the hands of his [foreign] king. And the enemy will strike the land, and I will not rescue the people from their hand.”

For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the Lord: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour's hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them.

God’s Decree: “I’m washing my hands of the people of this land. From now on they’re all on their own. It’s dog-eat-dog, survival of the fittest, and the devil take the hindmost. Don’t look for help from me.” 7-8 So I took over from the crass, money-grubbing owners, and shepherded the sheep marked for slaughter. I got myself two shepherd staffs. I named one Lovely and the other Harmony. Then I went to work shepherding the sheep. Within a month I got rid of the corrupt shepherds. I got tired of putting up with them—and they couldn’t stand me.

I will no longer have pity on the people in the land,” announces the Lord. “I will hand all of them over to their neighbors and their king. They will destroy the land. And I will not save anyone from their power.”

وَيَقُولُ الرَّبُّ: «لِذَلِكَ لَا أُشْفِقُ بَعْدُ عَلَى سُكَّانِ الأَرْضِ، بَلْ أَنَا أُسَلِّمُ كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ إِلَى قَرِيبِهِ أَوْ مَالِكِهِ، فَيُهْلِكُونَ النَّاسَ وَلا أُنْقِذُ أَحَداً مِنْ أَيْدِيهِمْ».

På samme måde vil jeg ikke have medlidenhed med landets indbyggere, men lade dem falde i kløerne på deres egne onde ledere, som skal undertrykke dem og ødelægge landet. Og jeg vil ikke gribe ind og redde dem.”

Désormais, moi aussi, je n’aurai plus pitié des habitants de ce pays, l’Eternel le déclare. Je livrerai les hommes aux mains les uns des autres et entre les mains de leur roi. Ils saccageront le pays et je ne délivrerai personne de leur oppression.

“Tatapa ang akon katawhan kay ako, ang Ginoo, nagasiling nga indi ko na pagkaluoyan ang mga tawo sa kalibutan. [d] Ako mismo ang magtulod sa kada tawo nga magpasakop sa iya isigkatawo kag sa iya hari. Kag ini sila nga nagagahom sa iban magadala sang kalaglagan sa kalibutan, kag indi ko pagluwason ang mga tawo sa ila mga kamot.”
