But as for you, teach the things which are in agreement with sound doctrine [which produces men and women of good character whose lifestyle identifies them as true Christians].

But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:

1-6 Your job is to speak out on the things that make for solid doctrine. Guide older men into lives of temperance, dignity, and wisdom, into healthy faith, love, and endurance. Guide older women into lives of reverence so they end up as neither gossips nor drunks, but models of goodness. By looking at them, the younger women will know how to love their husbands and children, be virtuous and pure, keep a good house, be good wives. We don’t want anyone looking down on God’s Message because of their behavior. Also, guide the young men to live disciplined lives.

But as for you, speak the things which are fitting for sound doctrine.

أَمَّا أَنْتَ، فَعَلِّمْ بِمَا يُوَافِقُ التَّعْلِيمَ الصَّحِيحَ:

Apan ikaw Tito, kinahanglan nga magtudlo ka sumala sa husto nga pagtulon-an.

Du, derimod, skal undervise om det, der hører med til den sunde lære.

Du aber sollst dich in allem, was du sagst, nach der unverfälschten Lehre richten.

Tu, invece, insegna a vivere rettamente, secondo la sana dottrina cristiana.

Men du, Titus, du skal undervise i de reglene som er en del av troen og den sunne læren.

Ty zaś wzywaj wszystkich do życia zgodnego z zasadami zdrowej nauki.

Você, porém, fale o que está de acordo com a sã doutrina.
