Ruth 2:19

Her mother-in-law said to her, “Where did you glean today? Where did you work? Blessed be the man who took notice of you.” So she told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked and said, “The name of the man with whom I worked today is Boaz.”

And her mother in law said unto her, Where hast thou gleaned to day? and where wroughtest thou? blessed be he that did take knowledge of thee. And she shewed her mother in law with whom she had wrought, and said, The man's name with whom I wrought to day is Boaz.

Naomi asked her, “So where did you glean today? Whose field? God bless whoever it was who took such good care of you!”Ruth told her mother-in-law, “The man with whom I worked today? His name is Boaz.”

Her mother-in-law then said to her, “Where did you glean today and where did you work? May he who took notice of you be blessed.” So she told her mother-in-law with whom she had worked and said, “The name of the man with whom I worked today is Boaz.”

الَّتِي سَأَلَتْهَا: «أَيْنَ الْتَقَطْتِ الْيَوْمَ، وَفِي أَيِّ حَقْلٍ عَمِلْتِ؟ لِيُبَارِكِ الرَّبُّ مَنْ كَانَ عَطُوفاً عَلَيْكِ». فَأَخْبَرَتْ رَاعُوثُ حَمَاتَهَا عَمَّنِ اشْتَغَلَتْ فِي حَقْلِهِ وَقَالَتْ: «اسْمُ الرَّجُلِ الَّذِي عَمِلْتُ فِي حَقْلِهِ الْيَوْمَ هُوَ بُوعَزُ».

„Det var dog utroligt!” udbrød No’omi. „Hvor har du samlet alt det korn? Hvor har du været i dag? Må Herren velsigne den mand, som viste dig en sådan venlighed!” Derefter fortalte Ruth sin svigermor, hvordan det var gået. „Den mand, som ejer marken, hvor jeg samlede aks i dag, hedder Boaz,” sagde hun.

Noomi undrade: ”Var har du plockat allt detta i dag? Var har du arbetat? Gud ska välsigna den som varit så vänlig mot dig!” Rut berättade då för henne vad hon hade varit med om och nämnde också att mannen hon arbetat hos den dagen hette Boas.
