Romans 11:16

If the first portion [of dough offered as the first fruits] is holy, so is the whole batch; and if the root (Abraham, the patriarchs) is holy, so are the branches (the Israelites).

For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

Mirad, pues, que si una porción de la masa preparada para hacer pan fue consagrada a Dios, la masa entera quedó consagrada. Igualmente, si las raíces de un árbol son santas, también las ramas lo son.

The first handful of dough that is offered is holy. This makes all of the dough holy. If the root is holy, so are the branches.

وَإذَا كَانَتِ الْقِطْعَةُ الأُولَى مِنَ الْعَجِينِ مُقَدَّسَةً، فَالْعَجِينُ كُلُّهُ مُقَدَّسٌ؛ وَإذَا كَانَ أَصْلُ الشَّجَرَةِ مُقَدَّساً، فَالأَغْصَانُ أَيْضاً تَكُونُ مُقَدَّسَةً.

Ang panig-ingnan sa mga Judio sama niini: kon ang tipik sa pan nahalad ngadto sa Dios, ang tibuok nga pan iya usab sa Dios. Ug kon ang gamot sa kahoy iya sa Dios, ang mga sanga sa kahoy iya usab.[f]

Abraham i ostali patrijarsi bili su sveti, pa će i njihovi potomci biti sveti.[e] Jer ako je korijen stabla svet, svete su i grane.

Jødene tilhører egentlig Gud, etter som forfedrene deres, Abraham, Isak og Jakob[h], gjorde det. S prvým chlebom, ktorý sa obetuje Bohu pri slávnosti prvej úrody, sa totiž posväcuje všetok chlieb. A ak sú korene stromu zdravé, zdravé sú aj vetvy.

献祭时所献的那部分面团如果圣洁，整团面也圣洁；树根如果圣洁，树枝也圣洁。

所 献 的 新 面 若 是 圣 洁 ， 全 团 也 就 圣 洁 了 ； 树 根 若 是 圣 洁 ， 树 枝 也 就 圣 洁 了 。

獻祭時所獻的那部分麵團如果聖潔，整團麵也聖潔；樹根如果聖潔，樹枝也聖潔。
