Revelation 17:8

“The beast that you saw was [once], but [now] is not, and he is about to come up out of the abyss (the bottomless pit, the dwelling place of demons) and go to destruction (perdition). And the inhabitants of the earth, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, will be astonished when they see the beast, because he was and is not and is yet to come [to earth].

هَذَا الْوَحْشُ كَانَ مَوْجُوداً، وَهُوَ غَيْرُ مَوْجُودٍ الآنَ، وَلَكِنَّهُ عَلَى وَشْكِ أَنْ يَطْلُعَ مِنَ الْهَاوِيَةِ وَيَمْضِيَ إِلَى الْهَلاكِ. وَسَيُدْهَشُ سُكَّانُ الأَرْضِ الَّذِينَ لَمْ تُكْتَبْ أَسْمَاؤُهُمْ مُنْذُ تَأْسِيسِ الْعَالَمِ فِي سِجِلِّ الْحَيَاةِ، عِنْدَمَا يَرَوْنَ الْوَحْشَ، لأَنَّهُ كَانَ مَوْجُوداً، ثُمَّ أَصْبَحَ غَيْرَ مَوْجُودٍ، وَسَيَعُودُ!

네가 본 그 짐승은 전에는 있었으나 지금은 없으며 장차 무저갱에서 올라와 멸망하게 될 것이다. 그리고 세상이 창조된 때부터 생명책에 이름이 기록되지 않은 모든 사람들은 영영 사라진 줄 알았던 그 짐승이 다시 나타난 것을 보고 몹시 놀랄 것이다.
