Nehemiah 9:38

“[m]Now because of all thisWe are making an agreement in writing;And on the sealed document are the names of our princes, our Levites, and our priests.”

And because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes, Levites, and priests, seal unto it.

فَمِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ كُلِّهِ هَا نَحْنُ نُبْرِمُ مَعَكَ مِيثَاقاً مَكْتُوباً يُوَقِّعُهُ رُؤَسَاؤُنَا وَلاوِيُّونَا وَكَهَنَتُنَا».

Om al deze redenen beloven wij opnieuw God te zullen dienen! We zullen dit verbond op schrift stellen en het ondertekenen. Ook onze leiders, Levieten en priesters zullen hun handtekening eronder zetten.’
