Nehemiah 8:17

The entire assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made booths and lived in them. Indeed since the days of Joshua the son of Nun until that very day, the Israelites had not done so. And there was great rejoicing and celebration.

And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.

All the people who had returned from the land of Babylon made booths. They lived in them during the Feast of Booths. They hadn’t celebrated the feast with so much joy for a long time. In fact, they had never celebrated it like that from the days of Joshua, the son of Nun, until that day. So their joy was very great.

The whole company that had returned from exile built temporary shelters and lived in them. From the days of Joshua son of Nun until that day, the Israelites had not celebrated it like this. And their joy was very great.

So everyone who had returned from captivity lived in these shelters during the festival, and they were all filled with great joy! The Israelites had not celebrated like this since the days of Joshua[f] son of Nun.

وَهَكَذَا صَنَعَ كُلُّ الرَّاجِعِينَ مِنَ السَّبْيِ مَظَلّاتٍ أَقَامُوا فِيهَا، لأَنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ لَمْ يَحْتَفِلُوا هَكَذَا مُنْذُ أَيَّامِ يَشُوعَ بْنِ نُونٍ إِلَى ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ، وَعَمَّهُمْ فَرَحٌ عَظِيمٌ جِدّاً.

Alle de hjemvendte byggede hytter og boede i dem i de syv dage, højtiden varede. Løvhyttefesten var ikke blevet fejret siden Josvas tid, og alle var begejstrede og glade.

Toute la communauté des anciens déportés revenus de l’exil construisit des cabanes et se mit à les habiter. Les Israélites n’avaient plus célébré cette fête depuis le temps de Josué, fils de Noun. Ils se livrèrent à de grandes réjouissances à cette occasion.

そして祭りの七日間を、その中で暮らしたのです。誰もが喜びにあふれていました。この行事はヨシュアの時代以来、ずっと中断されていたのです。

Alle teruggekeerde ballingen woonden in deze hutten gedurende de zeven dagen van het feest. Iedereen was uitgelaten van vreugde, want het was de eerste keer sinds de tijd van Jozua, de zoon van Nun, dat dit feest weer werd gevierd!

Todos os que tinham voltado do exílio construíram tendas e moraram nelas. Desde os dias de Josué, filho de Num, até aquele dia, os israelitas não tinham celebrado a festa dessa maneira. E grande foi a alegria deles.

Toată mulţimea întoarsă din captivitate şi-a făcut corturi şi a locuit în ele. Israeliţii nu mai făcuseră aşa ceva de pe vremea lui Iosua, fiul lui Nun. Şi a fost o bucurie nespus de mare.

Hela församlingen som hade återvänt från fångenskapen byggde lövhyddor och bodde i dem. Israeliterna hade inte gjort så sedan Josuas, Nuns sons, tid. Glädjen var mycket stor.
