Nehemiah 8:15

So they proclaimed and published an announcement in all their cities and in Jerusalem, saying, “Go out to the hills and bring olive branches, wild olive, myrtle, palm, and other leafy branches to make booths, as it is written.”

And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

[g]So they proclaimed and circulated a proclamation in all their cities and in Jerusalem, saying, “Go out to the hills, and bring olive branches and [h]wild olive branches, myrtle branches, palm branches and branches of other leafy trees, to make booths, as it is written.”

They were also supposed to spread the message all through their towns and in Jerusalem. They were supposed to announce, “Go out into the central hill country. Bring back some branches from olive and wild olive trees. Also bring some from myrtle, palm and shade trees. Use the branches to make booths.”

He had said that a proclamation should be made throughout their towns and in Jerusalem, telling the people to go to the hills to get branches from olive, wild olive,[e] myrtle, palm, and other leafy trees. They were to use these branches to make shelters in which they would live during the festival, as prescribed in the Law.

وَالدَّعْوَةَ والمُنَادَاةَ فِي كُلِّ مُدُنِهِمْ وَأُورُشَلِيمَ قَائِلِينَ: «انْطَلِقُوا إِلَى الْجَبَلِ وَاجْلِبُوا أَغْصَانَ زَيْتُونٍ عَادِيٍّ وَبَرِّيٍّ، وَأَغْصَانَ آسٍ وَنَخْلٍ، وَأَغْصَانَ أَشْجَارٍ كَثِيفَةِ الأَوْرَاقِ لِصُنْعِ مَظَلاتٍ»، كَمَا هُوَ مَكْتُوبٌ.

Man sendte derfor følgende besked til alle landets byer og til folk i Jerusalem: „Gå ud på højene og hent grene fra oliventræer, myrter, palmer og andre træer med blade, så I kan bygge løvhytter, som der står skrevet.”

Darum ließ man in Jerusalem und in allen anderen Städten bekannt geben: »Steigt auf die Hügel und bringt frische Zweige von Ölbäumen, Myrten, Palmen und anderen Bäumen mit dichten Blättern. Dann baut damit Laubhütten, wie es das Gesetz vorschreibt!«

その仮小屋についても、山で取って来たオリーブ、ミルトス、なつめやし、いちじくなどの枝で作るようにとあったので、エルサレムをはじめ全国民にそのおふれが出されました。
