Nehemiah 2:6

The king, beside whom the queen was sitting, asked me, “How long will your journey take, and when will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me, and I gave him a definite time [for my return].

And the king said unto me, (the queen also sitting by him,) For how long shall thy journey be? and when wilt thou return? So it pleased the king to send me; and I set him a time.

The king, with the queen sitting alongside him, said, “How long will your work take and when would you expect to return?”I gave him a time, and the king gave his approval to send me. 7-8 Then I said, “If it please the king, provide me with letters to the governors across the Euphrates that authorize my travel through to Judah; and also an order to Asaph, keeper of the king’s forest, to supply me with timber for the beams of The Temple fortress, the wall of the city, and the house where I’ll be living.” 8-9 The generous hand of my God was with me in this and the king gave them to me. When I met the governors across The River (the Euphrates) I showed them the king’s letters. The king even sent along a cavalry escort.

Then the king said to me, the queen sitting beside him, “How long will your journey be, and when will you return?” So it pleased the king to send me, and I gave him a definite time.

فَسَأَلَنِي الْمَلِكُ الَّذِي كَانَتِ الْمَلِكَةُ تَجْلِسُ إِلَى جِوَارِهِ: «كَمْ تَطُولُ غَيْبَتُكَ، وَمَتَى تَرْجِعُ؟» فَحَدَّدْتُ لَهُ مَوْعِدَ رُجُوعِي، إذْ طَابَ لَهُ أَنْ يُرْسِلَنِي.

L’empereur, qui avait l’impératrice assise à ses côtés, me demanda alors : Combien de temps durera ton voyage et quand seras-tu de retour ?L’empereur accepta donc de me laisser partir, et je lui indiquai un délai.

Nagpamangkot sa akon ang hari samtang ang rayna nagapungko sa iya tupad, “Ano ka kadugay didto, kag san-o ka mabalik?” Nagsiling ako kon san-o ako mabalik, kag ginsugtan niya ako.

”Hur länge räknar du med att vara borta?” frågade kungen, där han satt med drottningen vid sin sida. ”Och när kan du vara tillbaka?” Kungen tillät mig alltså att resa. Jag angav då en viss tid.

ขณะนั้นพระราชินีประทับอยู่ข้างๆ ด้วย กษัตริย์ตรัสถามข้าพเจ้าว่า “เจ้าจะไปนานแค่ไหน? เจ้าจะกลับมาเมื่อใด?” เป็นอันว่ากษัตริย์ทรงโปรดเห็นชอบที่จะส่งข้าพเจ้าไป ดังนั้นข้าพเจ้าจึงกำหนดเวลาออกเดินทาง
