Nehemiah 2:16

The officials did not know where I had gone or what I had done; nor had I yet told the Jews, the priests, the nobles, the officials, or the rest who did the work.

And the rulers knew not whither I went, or what I did; neither had I as yet told it to the Jews, nor to the priests, nor to the nobles, nor to the rulers, nor to the rest that did the work.

وَلَمْ يَعْرِفِ الْوُلاةُ وَسِوَاهُمْ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ وَالْكَهَنَةِ وَالأَشْرَافِ وَبَاقِي الْعُمَّالِ إِلَى أَيْنَ ذَهَبْتُ، وَلا مَا أَنَا مُزْمِعٌ فِعْلَهُ، لأَنَّنِي لَمْ أُطْلِعْ أَحَداً عَلَى شَيْءٍ.

Ingen af de lokale embedsmænd vidste, hvor jeg havde været, eller hvad jeg havde foretaget mig. Jeg havde nemlig ikke sagt noget til nogen, hverken judæere, præster, embedsmænd eller de andre ledere, selvom det var dem, som ville få ansvar for genopbygningen.

Wala nakahibalo ang mga opisyal sang siyudad kon diin ako naghalin kag kon ano ang akon ginhimo. Kay wala pa gid ako sing may ginsugiran nga Judio parte sa akon plano, bisan ang mga pari, mga pangulo, mga opisyal, kag ang iban pa nga ara sa administrasyon.

町の役人たちは、私が出かけたことはもちろん、私のしようとしていることも知りませんでした。この計画のことは、政府や宗教関係の要人にも、実際の工事に当たる人々にも、まだ話していなかったのです。

De stadsbestuurders wisten niet waar ik was geweest en wat ik had gedaan. Want tot nog toe had ik niemand iets over mijn plannen verteld. Niemand was ervan op de hoogte, ook de politieke en geestelijke leiders niet en zelfs zij niet die het werk zouden doen.

De ledande i staden visste ingenting om var jag hade varit eller vad jag hade gjort. Jag hade inte berättat något för judarna, prästerna, de förnäma männen, styresmännen eller andra som skulle utföra arbetet.
