Nehemiah 13:15

In those days I saw some in Judah who were treading wine presses on the Sabbath, and bringing in sheaves or sacks of grain and loading them on donkeys, as well as wine, grapes, figs, and all kinds of loads, which they brought into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. So I protested and warned them on the day they sold the produce.

Still other people were loading up wine, grapes, figs and other kinds of things. They were bringing all of it into Jerusalem on the Sabbath day. So I warned them not to sell food on that day.

وَفِي تِلْكَ الأَيَّامِ شَاهَدْتُ فِي أَرْضِ يَهُوذَا قَوْماً يَدُوسُونَ الْمَعَاصِرَ فِي يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ، وَيَأْتُونَ بِأَكْيَاسِ الْحِنْطَةِ وَيُحَمِّلُونَهَا عَلَى الْحَمِيرِ، وَكَذَلِكَ بِأَحْمَالِ الْعِنَبِ وَالتِّينِ وَسِوَاهَا مِنَ الْمَحَاصِيلِ الَّتِي يَجْلِبُونَهَا إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ فِي يَوْمِ السَّبْتِ، فَحَذَّرْتُهُمْ مِنْ بَيْعِ الطَّعَامِ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ.

Jeg lagde siden mærke til, at nogle judæere pressede vindruer på sabbatten, mens andre læssede korn, vin, druer, figner og andre afgrøder på deres æsler for at tage ind til Jerusalem og sælge dem. Derfor gav jeg dem en alvorlig advarsel om, at det måtte de ikke gøre på en sabbat.

Vid samma tid fick jag se män i Juda som trampade sin vinpress på sabbaten och andra som körde hem säd eller lastade sina åsnor med vin, druvor, fikon och alla slags bördor för att frakta detta till Jerusalem på sabbatsdagen. Jag varnade dem för att sälja mat på den dagen.
