Malachi 2:10

Do we not all have one Father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously with one another, profaning the covenant of our fathers [with God]?

Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?

Don’t we all come from one Father? Aren’t we all created by the same God? So why can’t we get along? Why do we desecrate the covenant of our ancestors that binds us together? 11-12 Judah has cheated on God—a sickening violation of trust in Israel and Jerusalem: Judah has desecrated the holiness of God by falling in love and running off with foreign women, women who worship alien gods. God’s curse on those who do this! Drive them out of house and home! They’re no longer fit to be part of the community no matter how many offerings they bring to God-of-the-Angel-Armies. 13-15 And here’s a second offense: You fill the place of worship with your whining and sniveling because you don’t get what you want from God. Do you know why? Simple. Because God was there as a witness when you spoke your marriage vows to your young bride, and now you’ve broken those vows, broken the faith-bond with your vowed companion, your covenant wife. God, not you, made marriage. His Spirit inhabits even the smallest details of marriage. And what does he want from marriage? Children of God, that’s what. So guard the spirit of marriage within you. Don’t cheat on your spouse.

People of Judah, all of us have one Father. One God created us. So why do we break the covenant the Lord made with our people of long ago? We do this by being unfaithful to one another.

Do we not all have one Father[b]? Did not one God create us? Why do we profane the covenant of our ancestors by being unfaithful to one another?

Are we not all children of the same Father? Are we not all created by the same God? Then why do we betray each other, violating the covenant of our ancestors?

أَلَيْسَ لَنَا جَمِيعاً أَبٌ وَاحِدٌ؟ أَلَمْ يَخْلُقْنَا إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ، فَمَا بَالُنَا يَغْدُرُ أَحَدُنَا بِالآخَرِ وَنُدَنِّسُ عَهْدَ آبَائِنَا؟

Vi er jo alle skabt af den samme Gud. Vi har den samme far. Når vi hører sammen, hvorfor svigter vi så hinanden ved at bryde den pagt, Gud indstiftede med vores forfædre?

Haben wir Israeliten nicht alle denselben Vater? Hat nicht der eine Gott uns alle geschaffen? Warum handeln wir dann so treulos aneinander und brechen den Bund, den der Herr mit unseren Vorfahren geschlossen hat?

¿No tenemos todos un solo Padre? ¿No nos creó un solo Dios? ¿Por qué, pues, profanamos el pacto de nuestros antepasados al traicionarnos unos a otros?

Ne sommes-nous pas tous enfants d’un père unique ? N’avons-nous pas été créés par un seul Dieu ? Comment donc pouvons-nous agir avec traîtrise chacun envers son compatriote et profaner ainsi l’alliance conclue avec nos pères ?

Nagsiling si Malakias sa mga Israelinhon, “Indi bala nga tanan kita may isa lang ka amay?[d] Kag indi bala nga isa lang ka Dios ang nagtuga sa aton? Ti ngaa nagaluib kita sa isa kag isa? Sa sinang ginahimo naton, ginabaliwala naton ang kasugtanan sang Dios sa aton mga katigulangan.

私たちはアブラハムという共通の先祖を持ち、同じ神によって創造された者です。それなのに先祖の結んだ契約を破り、互いに不信実なことをしています。

우리가 다 한 아버지를 모시지 않았느냐? 한 하나님이 우리를 창조하시지 않았느냐? 어째서 우리가 서로 신의를 저버리고 우리 조상들의 계약을 욕되게 하느냐?

Wij zijn kinderen van dezelfde vader en zijn geschapen door dezelfde God. Waarom zijn wij elkaar dan ontrouw en schenden wij het verbond van onze voorouders?

Não temos todos o mesmo Pai[d]? Não fomos todos criados pelo mesmo Deus? Por que será, então, que quebramos a aliança dos nossos antepassados sendo infiéis uns com os outros?

Somos filhos do mesmo pai, Abraão; fomos criados pelo mesmo Deus. Apesar disso, somos desleais uns com os outros, violando a aliança que os nossos pais celebraram!

N-avem toţi un singur Tată[e]? Nu ne-a creat un singur Dumnezeu? Atunci de ce suntem necredincioşi unul faţă de altul, pângărind legământul strămoşilor noştri?

Разве не один у всех нас Небесный Отец[c]? Разве не один Бог сотворил нас? Почему же мы вероломны по отношению друг к другу, нарушая соглашение наших предков?

Разве не один у всех нас Отец?2:10 Или: « … у всех нас отец». В этом случае здесь может говориться об Аврааме или Иакове. Разве не один Бог сотворил нас? Почему же мы вероломны по отношению друг к другу, нарушая завет наших отцов?

Har vi inte alla en enda fader? Har inte en och samme Gud skapat oss? Varför är vi trolösa mot varandra och vanhelgar våra förfäders förbund?

เราทั้งหลายมีพระบิดาองค์เดียวกันไม่ใช่หรือ? พระเจ้าองค์เดียวกันไม่ใช่หรือที่ทรงสร้างเรา? ก็แล้วเหตุใดเราลบหลู่พันธสัญญาของบรรพบุรุษโดยไม่ซื่อสัตย์ต่อกัน?

难道我们不是出于同一位父亲，由同一位上帝所造吗？为何我们竟彼此欺骗，背弃上帝与我们祖先所立的约呢？

我 们 岂 不 都 是 一 位 父 麽 ？ 岂 不 是 一 位 神 所 造 的 麽 ？ 我 们 各 人 怎 麽 以 诡 诈 待 弟 兄 ， 背 弃 了 神 与 我 们 列 祖 所 立 的 约 呢 ？

難道我們不是出於同一位父親，由同一位上帝所造嗎？為何我們竟彼此欺騙，背棄上帝與我們祖先所立的約呢？
