Leviticus 26:44

Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so despise them as to destroy them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am the Lord their God.

And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the Lord their God.

وَلَكِنْ عَلَى الرَّغْمِ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّنِي لَمْ أَنْبِذْهُمْ وَهُمْ فِي أَرْضِ أَعْدَائِهِمْ، وَلا كَرِهْتُهُمْ حَتَّى أُبِيدَهُمْ وَأَنْقُضَ عَهْدِي مَعَهُمْ، لأَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبُّ إِلَهُهُمْ،

På trods af det onde, de har gjort, vil jeg dog ikke forkaste dem fuldstændigt og udrydde dem helt, for derved ville jeg helt annullere min pagt med dem. Jeg er stadig Herren, deres Gud.

Et pourtant, même alors, lorsqu’ils seront dans le pays de leurs ennemis, je ne les rejetterai pas et je ne les prendrai pas en aversion au point de les exterminer et de rompre mon alliance avec eux ; car je suis l’Eternel leur Dieu.

彼らの行状は目に余ったが、わたしは誠実に契約を守り、完全に滅ぼすことはしなかった。わたしは彼らの神、主だからだ。

Trots detta ska jag ändå inte – medan de är i sina fienders land – utrota dem och bryta mitt förbund med dem, för jag är Herren, deras Gud.
