Leviticus 20:4

If the people of the land should ever tolerate that man when he gives any of his children [as a burnt offering] to Molech, and fail to put him to death [as My law requires],

And if the people of the land do any ways hide their eyes from the man, when he giveth of his seed unto Molech, and kill him not:

If the people of the land, however, [c]should ever disregard that man when he gives any of his [d]offspring to Molech, so as not to put him to death,

Suppose the members of the community act like they don’t know that the man has sacrificed his child to Molek. And suppose they don’t put him to death.

If the members of the community close their eyes when that man sacrifices one of his children to Molek and if they fail to put him to death,

And if the people of the community ignore those who offer their children to Molech and refuse to execute them,

وَإِنْ تَغَاضَى شَعْبُ الأَرْضِ عَنْ ذَلِكَ الإِنْسَانِ، عِنْدَمَا قَرَّبَ لِمُولَكَ أَحَدَ أَبْنَائِهِ، فَلَمْ يَقْتُلُوهُ،

Hvis hans landsmænd ser igennem fingre med hans synd og nægter at slå ham ihjel,

Wenn die Israeliten die Augen davor verschließen und ihn nicht hinrichten,

如果那地方的人对此置之不理，没有处死那人，

那 人 把 儿 女 献 给 摩 洛 ， 本 地 人 若 佯 为 不 见 ， 不 把 他 治 死 ，
