Leviticus 20:21

If a man takes his brother’s wife, it is a hated and unclean thing; he has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They will be childless.

And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.

“If a man marries his brother’s wife, it’s a defilement. He has shamed his brother. They will be childless. 22-23 “Do what I tell you, all my decrees and laws; live by them so that the land where I’m bringing you won’t vomit you out. You simply must not live like the nations I’m driving out before you. They did all these things and I hated every minute of it. 24-26 “I’ve told you, remember, that you will possess their land that I’m giving to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am God, your God, who has distinguished you from the nations. So live like it: Distinguish between ritually clean and unclean animals and birds. Don’t pollute yourselves with any animal or bird or crawling thing which I have marked out as unclean for you. Live holy lives before me because I, God, am holy. I have distinguished you from the nations to be my very own.

If there is a man who takes his brother’s wife, it is [l]abhorrent; he has uncovered his brother’s nakedness. They will be childless.

“ ‘Suppose a man gets married to his brother’s wife. That is something that should never be done. He has brought shame on his brother. Neither of them will have any children.

“‘If a man marries his brother’s wife, it is an act of impurity; he has dishonored his brother. They will be childless.

‘“If a man marries his brother’s wife, it is an act of impurity; he has dishonoured his brother. They will be childless.

“If a man marries his brother’s wife, it is an act of impurity. He has violated his brother, and the guilty couple will remain childless.

وَإذَا تَزَوَّجَ رَجُلٌ امْرَأَةَ أَخِيهِ فَذَلِكَ نَجَاسَةٌ لأَنَّهُ كَشَفَ عَوْرَةَ أَخِيهِ. كِلاهُمَا يَمُوتَانِ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يُعْقِبَا نَسْلاً.

Hvis en mand har samleje med sin brors[a] kone, er det en uren handling. Han har krænket sin bror, og både han og kvinden skal dø uden børn.

Kon ang isa ka lalaki magpakigrelasyon sa asawa sang iya utod, ginpakahuy-an niya ang iya utod. Kag tungod kay mahigko ang ila ginhimo, mapatay lang sila nga wala sing bata.

兄弟の妻と結婚するのは恥ずべきことである。兄弟のものを奪うからだ。彼らには子は生まれない。

그리고 누가 자기 형제의 아내를 데리고 살면 그는 더러운 짓을 하여 자기 형제를 부끄럽게 하였으므로 그들도 자식이 없을 것이다.

Als een man met de vrouw van zijn broer geslachtsgemeenschap heeft, is dat bloedschande, hij heeft genomen wat aan zijn broer toebehoorde. Zij zullen kinderloos blijven.

“Se um homem tomar por mulher a mulher do seu irmão, comete impureza; desonrou seu irmão. Ficarão sem filhos.

Se um homem casar com a esposa do seu irmão, praticou um ato impuro; sujou o que é do seu irmão. Serão ambos privados de filhos.

Dacă un bărbat va lua pe soţia fratelui său[e], lucrul acesta este o necurăţie, căci el a descoperit goliciunea fratelui său; nu vor avea copii.

Om en man gifter sig med sin brors hustru är detta en oren handling. Han har skändat sin bror och de ska därför bli barnlösa.

“ ‘ชายใดแต่งงานกับพี่สะใภ้หรือน้องสะใภ้ของตน เป็นการกระทำอันไม่บริสุทธิ์ เขาทำให้พี่ชายน้องชายต้องอับอายขายหน้า คนทั้งคู่จะไม่มีบุตรสืบสกุล

如果有人娶兄嫂或弟媳，这是污秽行为，羞辱了自己的兄弟。二人必无儿无女。

人 若 娶 弟 兄 之 妻 ， 这 本 是 污 秽 的 事 ， 羞 辱 了 他 的 弟 兄 ； 二 人 必 无 子 女 。

如果有人娶兄嫂或弟媳，這是污穢行為，羞辱了自己的兄弟。二人必無兒無女。
