Leviticus 15:25

‘Now if a woman has a flow of blood for many days, not during the time of her menstruation, or if she has a discharge beyond that period, as long as the impure discharge continues she shall be as she is in the days of her [normal] menstrual impurity; she is unclean.

And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.

‘Now if a woman has a discharge of her blood many days, not at the period of her menstrual impurity, or if she has a discharge beyond [f]that period, all the days of her impure discharge she shall continue as though [g]in her menstrual impurity; she is unclean.

“ ‘Suppose blood flows from a woman’s body for many days. And it happens at a time other than her monthly period. Or blood keeps flowing after her period is over. Then she will be “unclean” as long as the blood continues to flow. She will be “unclean,” just as she is during the days of her period.

“‘When a woman has a discharge of blood for many days at a time other than her monthly period or has a discharge that continues beyond her period, she will be unclean as long as she has the discharge, just as in the days of her period.

‘“When a woman has a discharge of blood for many days at a time other than her monthly period or has a discharge that continues beyond her period, she will be unclean as long as she has the discharge, just as in the days of her period.

“If a woman has a flow of blood for many days that is unrelated to her menstrual period, or if the blood continues beyond the normal period, she is ceremonially unclean. As during her menstrual period, the woman will be unclean as long as the discharge continues.

إِذَا نَزَفَ دَمُ امْرَأَةٍ فَتْرَةً طَوِيلَةً فِي غَيْرِ أَوَانِ طَمْثِهَا، أَوِ اسْتَمَرَّ الْحَيْضُ بَعْدَ مَوْعِدِهِ، تَكُونُ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ نَزْفِهَا نَجِسَةً كَمَا فِي أَثْنَاءِ طَمْثِهَا.

Hvis menstruationen fortsætter ud over den normale tid, eller hvis kvinden bløder uden for den månedlige periode, gælder samme regler som nævnt ovenfor:

Om en kvinna har en blödning som varar i flera dagar utan att det är hennes menstruation eller om blödningen varar längre än normalt är hon oren så länge hon blöder på samma sätt som under hennes vanliga menstruation,
