Leviticus 11:43

Do not make yourselves loathsome (impure, repulsive) by [eating] any swarming thing; you shall not make yourselves unclean by them so as to defile yourselves.

Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.

Do not render [v]yourselves detestable through any of the swarming things that swarm; and you shall not make yourselves unclean with them so that you become unclean.

Do not make yourselves “unclean” by eating any of these animals. Do not make yourselves “unclean” because of them. Do not let them make you “unclean.”

I må ikke engang røre ved et sådant dyr. Hvis I gør det, bliver I urene. 44-45 Jeg er Herren, jeres Gud, som førte jer ud af Egypten. Gør ikke jer selv urene med disse ting, men vær hellige, for jeg er hellig.

Hütet euch davor, sie anzurühren, denn sonst werdet ihr in meinen Augen unrein und erregt meinen Abscheu!

你们不可让这些动物玷污自己，使自己不洁净。
