How the Lord has covered the Daughter of Zion (Jerusalem)With a cloud in His anger!He has cast down from heaven to the earthThe glory and splendor of IsraelAnd has not remembered His footstoolIn the day of His anger.

How hath the Lord covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!

Oh, oh, oh . . .How the Master has cut down Daughter Zion from the skies, dashed Israel’s glorious city to earth, in his anger treated his favorite as throwaway junk.

The Lord in his anger has cast a dark shadow over beautiful Jerusalem.[a]The fairest of Israel’s cities lies in the dust, thrown down from the heights of heaven.In his day of great anger, the Lord has shown no mercy even to his Temple.[b]

كَيْفَ خَيَّمَ الرَّبُّ فِي غَضَبِهِ بِالظَّلامِ عَلَى ابْنَةِ صِهْيَوْنَ، وَطَرَحَ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ إِلَى الأَرْضِ جَلالَ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَوْطِئَ قَدَمَيْهِ فِي يَوْمِ سُخْطِهِ؟

Ak, som en sort og truende tordensky lå Herrens vrede over Jerusalem. Israels himmelske herlighed ligger knust i støvet. End ikke Herrens eget tempel blev forskånet for hans vrede.

Ach, der Zorn des Herrn liegt über Zionwie eine große, dunkle Wolke.Wie ein Stern vom Himmel auf die Erde stürzt,so verging Israels ganze Pracht.Im Zorn hat Gott selbst seinen Tempel verworfen,den Schemel, auf dem seine Füße einst ruhten.

아, 슬프다! 여호와께서 시온을 분노의 구름으로 덮어 버리셨구나. 그가 이스 라엘의 영광을 하늘에서 땅으로 던지시고 분노하신 날에 그 [a]성전도 기억하지 않으셨다.

Met een wolk van toorn heeft de Here Jeruzalem overschaduwd. De prachtigste stad van Israël ligt in het stof van de aarde en is op zijn bevel uit de hemelse hoogten neergeworpen. Op de dag van zijn vreselijke toorn kende Hij zelfs geen genade voor zijn tempel.

O Senhor cobriu a cidade de Sião com a nuvem da sua ira!Lançou por terra o esplendor de Israel, que se elevava para os céus;não se lembrou do estrado dos seus pés no dia da sua ira.

Uma nuvem de ira, da parte do Senhor, escureceu Sião. Aquela que era a mais bela cidade de Israel está agora estendida no pó da terra, expulsa das alturas do céu por ordem de Deus. No dia da sua tremenda cólera não houve sequer misericórdia para com o templo, o estrado dos seus pés.

Cum a acoperit-o Stăpânul, cu norul mâniei Lui,[a] pe fiica Sionului!A aruncat măreţia lui Israel din cer pe pământ.În ziua mâniei Lui nu Şi-a mai adus aminte de aşternutul[b] picioarelor Sale.

Hur har inte Herren i sin vrede höljt dotter Sion i mörka moln! Från himlen har han slungat Israels härlighet ner till jorden. Han tänkte inte ens på sin fotpall på sin vredes dag.

โอ เมฆแห่งพระพิโรธขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าปกคลุมเหนือธิดาแห่งศิโยน![b]พระองค์ทรงเหวี่ยงความโอ่อ่าตระการของอิสราเอลจากฟ้าลงดินในวันแห่งพระพิโรธพระองค์ไม่ได้ทรงระลึกถึงแท่นรองพระบาทของพระองค์

主的怒气像乌云一样遮盖锡安城[a]，祂使以色列的荣美从天上坠下。祂发怒的时候并不顾念自己的脚凳。

主 何 竟 发 怒 ， 使 黑 云 遮 蔽 锡 安 城 ！ 他 将 以 色 列 的 华 美 从 天 扔 在 地 上 ； 在 他 发 怒 的 日 子 并 不 记 念 自 己 的 脚 凳 。

主的怒氣像烏雲一樣遮蓋錫安城[a]，祂使以色列的榮美從天上墜下。祂發怒的時候並不顧念自己的腳凳。
