Judges 9:1

Now Abimelech the son of Jerubbaal (Gideon) went to Shechem to his mother’s relatives, and said to them and to the whole clan of the household of his mother’s father,

And Abimelech the son of Jerubbaal went to Shechem unto his mother's brethren, and communed with them, and with all the family of the house of his mother's father, saying,

1-2 Abimelech son of Jerub-Baal went to Shechem to his uncles and all his mother’s relatives and said to them, “Ask all the leading men of Shechem, ‘What do you think is best, that seventy men rule you—all those sons of Jerub-Baal—or that one man rule? You’ll remember that I am your own flesh and blood.’”

And Abimelech the son of Jerubbaal went to Shechem to his mother’s [a]relatives, and spoke to them and to the whole clan of the household of his mother’s father, saying,

Abimelek was the son of Jerub-Baal. He went to his mother’s brothers in Shechem. He spoke to them and to all the members of his mother’s family group. He said,

Abimelek son of Jerub-Baal went to his mother’s brothers in Shechem and said to them and to all his mother’s clan,

One day Gideon’s[a] son Abimelech went to Shechem to visit his uncles—his mother’s brothers. He said to them and to the rest of his mother’s family,

وَمَضَى أَبِيمَالِكُ بْنُ يَرُبَّعَلَ إِلَى شَكِيمَ لِزِيَارَةِ أَخْوَالِهِ وَقَالَ لِعَشِيرَةِ أُمِّهِ:

En dag besøgte Gideons søn, Abimelek, sine morbrødre i Sikem. Han bad dem og hele sin morfars slægt om at spørge Sikems ledende mænd:

Eines Tages ging Gideons Sohn Abimelech nach Sichem zu den Brüdern seiner Mutter und ihren anderen Verwandten. Er bat sie:

Op een dag ging Gideons zoon Abimelech op bezoek bij zijn ooms van moederskant in Sichem.

Abimeleque, filho de Jerubaal, foi aos irmãos de sua mãe em Siquém e disse a eles e a todo o clã da família de sua mãe:

Um dia, o filho de Jerubaal, Abimeleque, veio visitar os tios (os irmãos da sua mãe) em Siquem.

En dag gick Jerubbaals son Avimelek till Shekem för att tala med sina morbröder. Han talade till dem och till hela sin mors släkt:

อาบีเมเลคบุตรเยรุบบาอัลไปเยี่ยมเยียนญาติพี่น้องฝ่ายมารดาที่เชเคม และกล่าวกับพวกเขาพร้อมทั้งคนในตระกูลของมารดาว่า
