Judges 2:1

Now the [a]Angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim. And he said, “I brought you up from Egypt and led you to the land which I swore [to give] to your fathers; and I said, ‘I will never break My covenant with you,

1-2 God’s angel went up from Gilgal to Bokim and said, “I brought you out of Egypt; I led you to the land that I promised to your fathers; and I said, I’ll never break my covenant with you—never! And you’re never to make a covenant with the people who live in this land. Tear down their altars! But you haven’t obeyed me! What’s this that you’re doing?

وَاجْتَازَ مَلاكُ الرَّبِّ مِنَ الْجِلْجَالِ إِلَى بُوكِيمَ وَقَالَ:«لَقَدْ أَخْرَجْتُكُمْ مِنْ مِصْرَ وَجِئْتُ بِكُمْ إِلَى الأَرْضِ الَّتِي حَلَفْتُ أَنْ أَهَبَهَا لِآبَائِكُمْ، وَقُلْتُ: لَا أَنْقُضُ عَهْدِي مَعَكُمْ إِلَى الأَبَدِ،
