Judges 14:4

His father and mother did not know that it was of the Lord, and that He was seeking an occasion [to take action] against the Philistines. Now at that time the Philistines were ruling over Israel.

But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the Lord, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.

The Spirit of God came on him powerfully and he ripped it open barehanded, like tearing a young goat. But he didn’t tell his parents what he had done.

وَلَمْ يُدْرِكْ وَالِدَاهُ أَنَّ ذَلِكَ الأَمْرَ كَانَ مِنَ الرَّبِّ، الَّذِي كَانَ يَلْتَمِسُ عِلَّةً ضِدَّ الْفِلِسْطِينِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا آنَئِذٍ مُتَسَلِّطِينَ عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ.
