Judges 14:18

So the men of the city said to Samson on the seventh day before sundown,“What is sweeter than honey?What is stronger than a lion?”And he said to them,“If you had not plowed with [c]my heifer,You would not have solved my riddle.”

And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion? and he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.

The men of the town came to him on the seventh day, just before sunset and said,What is sweeter than honey?What is stronger than a lion?And Samson said,If you hadn’t plowed with my heifer,You wouldn’t have found out my riddle. 19-20 Then the Spirit of God came powerfully on him. He went down to Ashkelon and killed thirty of their men, stripped them, and gave their clothing to those who had solved the riddle. Stalking out, smoking with anger, he went home to his father’s house. Samson’s bride became the wife of the best man at his wedding.

Before sunset on the seventh day of the feast the men of the town spoke to Samson. They said,“What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?”Samson said to them,“You have plowed with my young cow. If you hadn’t, you wouldn’t have known the answer to my riddle.”

Before sunset on the seventh day the men of the town said to him,“What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?”Samson said to them,“If you had not plowed with my heifer, you would not have solved my riddle.”

So before sunset of the seventh day, the men of the town came to Samson with their answer:“What is sweeter than honey? What is stronger than a lion?”Samson replied, “If you hadn’t plowed with my heifer, you wouldn’t have solved my riddle!”

وَقَبْلَ غُرُوبِ شَمْسِ الْيَوْمِ السَّابِعِ قَالَ لَهُ رِجَالُ الْمَدِينَةِ: «أَيُّ شَيْءٍ أَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ، وَمَا هُوَ أَقْوَى مِنَ الأَسَدِ؟» فَقَالَ لَهُمْ شَمْشُونُ: «لَوْلا أَنَّكُمْ حَرَثْتُمْ عَلَى عِجْلَتِي لَمَا وَجَدْتُمْ حَلَّ أُحْجِيِّتِي».

Inden solnedgang den syvende dag gav de ham derfor følgende svar:Hvad er sødere end honning? Hvad er stærkere end en løve?Samson svarede: „Hvis I ikke havde pløjet med min kvie, ville I aldrig have gættet min gåde!”

Bevor die Sonne unterging, sagten die Männer zu Simson: »Was ist süßer als Honig und stärker als ein Löwe?« Er erwiderte: »Hättet ihr nicht mit meinem Kalb gepflügt, dann hättet ihr das Rätsel nicht gelöst.«

Le septième jour, les jeunes gens de la ville dirent à Samson avant le coucher du soleil : Qu’y a-t-il de plus doux que le miel et de plus fort qu’un lion ?Il leur répondit : Si vous n’aviez pas labouré avec ma génisse, vous n’auriez pas trouvé la réponse.

Toen, op de zevende dag, voor het donker werd, vertelden de jongemannen Simson het antwoord. Ze zeiden: ‘Wat is zoeter dan honing, en wie is sterker dan een leeuw?’ Maar Simson antwoordde boos: ‘Jullie hebben mijn vrouw uitgehoord, anders hadden jullie het antwoord nooit kunnen weten!’

och före solnedgången den sjunde dagen fick Simson deras svar: ”Vad är sötare än honung?” sa de. ”Och vad är starkare än ett lejon?” ”Om ni inte hade plöjt med min kviga, skulle ni inte funnit svaret på min gåta”, svarade han.

在第七天日落之前，城里的人对参孙说：“有什么比蜂蜜更甜？有什么比狮子更强？”参孙说：“你们若不是利用我的小母牛耕田，肯定猜不出来。”

到 第 七 天 ， 日 头 未 落 以 前 ， 那 城 里 的 人 对 参 孙 说 ： 有 甚 麽 比 蜜 还 甜 呢 ？ 有 甚 麽 比 狮 子 还 强 呢 ？ 参 孙 对 他 们 说 ： 你 们 若 非 用 我 的 母 牛 犊 耕 地 ， 就 猜 不 出 我 谜 语 的 意 思 来 。

在第七天日落之前，城裡的人對參孫說：「有什麼比蜂蜜更甜？有什麼比獅子更強？」參孫說：「你們若不是利用我的小母牛耕田，肯定猜不出來。」
