Judges 11:8

The elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, “This is why we have turned to you now: that you may go with us and fight the Ammonites and become head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.”

And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

The elders of Gilead replied, “That’s it exactly. We’ve come to you to get you to go with us and fight the Ammonites. You’ll be the head of all of us, all the Gileadites.”

The elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, “For this reason we have now returned to you, that you may go with us and fight with the sons of Ammon and become head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.”

The elders of Gilead replied to him. “You are right,” they said. “That’s why we’re turning to you now. Come with us and fight against the Ammonites. Then you will rule over all of us who live in Gilead.”

The elders of Gilead said to him, “Nevertheless, we are turning to you now; come with us to fight the Ammonites, and you will be head over all of us who live in Gilead.”

“Because we need you,” the elders replied. “If you lead us in battle against the Ammonites, we will make you ruler over all the people of Gilead.”

فَأَجَابُوهُ: «لأَنَّنَا فِي ضِيقٍ جِئْنَا إِلَيْكَ لِتَرْجِعَ مَعْنَا وَتُحَارِبَ بَنِي عَمُّونَ، وَتَكُونَ رَئِيساً عَلَى كُلِّ سُكَّانِ جِلْعَادَ».

„Fordi vi har brug for dig,” svarede de. „Hvis du vil være vores hærfører mod ammonitterne, vil vi bagefter gøre dig til overhoved for Gilead!”

»Wir wenden uns an dich, weil wir deine Hilfe brauchen. Zieh doch mit uns in den Kampf gegen die Ammoniter! Dafür sollst du der Herrscher über ganz Gilead werden!«, versprachen die Männer.

Les responsables reprirent : C’est bien pour cela que nous revenons vers toi maintenant. Si tu viens avec nous et si tu combats les Ammonites, tu deviendras notre chef à tous et tu seras à la tête de toute la population de Galaad.

Pero nagsiling sila, “Kinahanglan ka namon. Sige na, mag-upod ka sa amon sa pagpakig-away sa mga Ammonhon, kag ikaw ang mangin pangulo sa Gilead.”

「どうしてもおまえに帰ってもらいたいんだ。もし総指揮官としてアモン軍と戦ってくれたら、ギルアデの住民のかしらになってもらう。」

‘Omdat we u nodig hebben,’ antwoordden ze. ‘Wees onze aanvoerder als we tegen de Ammonieten moeten vechten, dan zult u leider van Gilead en al zijn inwoners worden.’

“Apesar disso, agora estamos apelando para você”, responderam os líderes de Gileade. “Venha conosco combater os amonitas, e você será o chefe de todos os que vivem em Gileade.”

”Därför att vi behöver dig”, svarade de. ”Om du vill leda oss mot ammoniterna, ska du bli hövding för alla som bor i Gilead.”

เหล่าผู้อาวุโสของกิเลอาดตอบเขาว่า “ถึงอย่างไรตอนนี้เราก็กลับมาหาท่านแล้ว ไปสู้พวกอัมโมนร่วมกับเราเถิด แล้วท่านจะได้เป็นหัวหน้าของพวกเราทั้งหมดในกิเลอาด”

基列的众长老说：“现在我们是来请你跟我们一起回去抵抗亚扪人，你可以做所有基列人的首领。”

基 列 的 长 老 回 答 耶 弗 他 说 ： 现 在 我 们 到 你 这 里 来 ， 是 要 你 同 我 们 去 ， 与 亚 扪 人 争 战 ； 你 可 以 作 基 列 一 切 居 民 的 领 袖 。
