Joshua 9:11

So our elders and all the residents of our country said to us, ‘Take provisions for the journey and go to meet the sons of Israel and say to them, “We are your servants; now make a covenant (treaty) with us.”’

Wherefore our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spake to us, saying, Take victuals with you for the journey, and go to meet them, and say unto them, We are your servants: therefore now make ye a league with us.

So our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spoke to us, saying, ‘Take provisions in your hand for the journey, and go to meet them and say to them, “We are your servants; now then, make a covenant with us.”’

Our elders and all the people living in our country spoke to us. They said, ‘Take supplies for your trip. Go and meet the Israelites. Say to them, “We’ll serve you. Make a peace treaty with us.” ’

And our elders and all those living in our country said to us, ‘Take provisions for your journey; go and meet them and say to them, “We are your servants; make a treaty with us.”’

And our elders and all those living in our country said to us, “Take provisions for your journey; go and meet them and say to them, ‘We are your servants; make a treaty with us.’”

So our elders and all our people instructed us, ‘Take supplies for a long journey. Go meet with the people of Israel and tell them, “We are your servants; please make a treaty with us.”’

فَأَشَارَ عَلَيْنَا شُيُوخُنَا وَسَائِرُ سُكَّانِ أَرْضِنَا أَنْ نَتَزَوَّدَ لِهَذِهِ الرِّحْلَةِ الطَّوِيلَةِ، وَنَأْتِيَ لِلِقَائِكُمْ وَنُعْلِنَ لَكُمْ أَنَّ شَعْبَنَا صَارَ لَكُمْ عَبِيداً، فَتَعَالَوْا وَاقْطَعُوا لَنَا عَهْداً.

Derfor sagde vores ledere og landsmænd til os: ‚Tag proviant med og begiv jer ud på den lange rejse. Opsøg israelitterne og sig, at vi er villige til at lade dem regere over os, hvis de vil slutte fred med os.’

Unsere Obersten und unser Volk gaben uns den Auftrag: ›Versorgt euch mit Proviant und geht zu ihnen! Bittet sie unterwürfig, einen Bund mit uns zu schließen!‹

Por eso los habitantes de nuestro país, junto con nuestros dirigentes, nos pidieron que nos preparáramos para el largo viaje y que os diéramos el siguiente mensaje: “Deseamos ser vuestros siervos; hagamos un trato”.

Daarom gaven onze leiders en ons volk ons de opdracht: “Maak u klaar voor een verre reis, ga naar de Israëlieten en verklaar dat ons volk hun dienaar wil zijn. Vraag hun om vrede.”

Därför sa de äldste och folket till oss: ’Förbered er för en lång resa och gå till israeliterna och säg att vi är beredda att bli deras tjänare och ingå förbund med dem.’

因此，我们的长老和人民就派我们带着干粮来迎接你们，甘做你们的仆人，希望跟你们缔结盟约。

我 们 的 长 老 和 我 们 那 地 的 一 切 居 民 对 我 们 说 ： 你 们 手 里 要 带 着 路 上 用 的 食 物 去 迎 接 以 色 列 人 ， 对 他 们 说 ： 我 们 是 你 们 的 仆 人 ； 现 在 求 你 们 与 我 们 立 约 。

因此，我們的長老和人民就派我們帶著乾糧來迎接你們，甘做你們的僕人，希望跟你們締結盟約。
