Joshua 24:2

Joshua said to all the people, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says, ‘Your fathers, including Terah, the father of Abraham and the father of Nahor, lived beyond the [Euphrates] River in ancient times; and they served other gods.

And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.

Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘From ancient times your fathers lived beyond the [a]River, namely, Terah, the father of Abraham and the father of Nahor, and they served other gods.

Joshua spoke to all the people. He said, “The Lord is the God of Israel. He says, ‘Long ago your people lived east of the Euphrates River. They worshiped other gods there. Your people included Terah. He was the father of Abraham and Nahor.

وَقَالَ يَشُوعُ لِجَمِيعِ الشَّعْبِ: «هَذَا مَا يَقُولُهُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ: لَقَدْ أَقَامَ أَجْدَادُكُمْ، وَمِنْ جُمْلَتِهِمْ تَارَحُ أَبُو إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَأَبُو نَاحُورَ مُنْذُ الْقِدَمِ فِي شَرْقِيِّ نَهْرِ الْفُرَاتِ حَيْثُ عَبَدُوا آلِهَةً أُخْرَى،

Da sagde Josva til folket: „Herren, Israels Gud, siger: Jeres forfar Tera, Abrahams og Nakors far, boede på den anden side af Eufratfloden, hvor man dyrkede fremmede guder.

Dann redete Josua zum Volk: »So spricht der Herr, der Gott Israels: Vor langer Zeit lebten eure Vorfahren auf der anderen Seite des Euphrat: Terach mit seinen Söhnen Abraham und Nahor. Sie verehrten dort andere Götter.

Nagsiling si Josue sa tanan nga tawo, “Amo ini ang ginasiling sang Ginoo, ang Dios sang Israel: Sang una, ang inyo mga katigulangan nag-estar sa tabok sang Suba sang Eufrates kag nagsimba sa iban nga mga dios. Isa sa ila amo si Tera nga amay ni Abraham kag ni Nahor.

Där höll Josua följande tal till dem: ”Så säger Herren, Israels Gud: ’Era förfäder, Terach, Abrahams och Nachors far, bodde för länge sedan öster om floden Eufrat och tillbad andra gudar.
