Jonah 3:6

When word reached the king of Nineveh [of Jonah’s message from God], he rose from his throne, took off his robe, covered himself with sackcloth and sat in the dust [in repentance].

ثُمَّ بَلَغَ إِنْذَارُ النَّبِيِّ مَلِكَ نِينَوَى، فَقَامَ عَنْ عَرْشِهِ وَخَلَعَ عَنْهُ حُلَّتَهُ، وَارْتَدَى الْمِسْحَ وَجَلَسَ عَلَى الرَّمَادِ.

När nyheterna nådde fram till kungen i Nineve steg denne ner från sin tron, tog av sig sin mantel, klädde sig i säcktyg och satte sig på bara marken.

เมื่อกษัตริย์นีนะเวห์ทรงทราบเรื่องนี้ ก็ทรงลุกขึ้นจากบัลลังก์ ถอดฉลองพระองค์ออก เอาเสื้อผ้ากระสอบคลุมพระองค์ และประทับในกองฝุ่นธุลี

尼尼微王听到这消息后，便走下宝座，脱下王袍，披上麻衣，坐在炉灰中。
