Job 30:31

“Therefore my lyre (harp) is used for [the sound of] mourning,And my flute for the [sound of the] voices of those who weep.

My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.

My lyre is tuned to sadness. My flute makes a sound like weeping.

صَارَتْ قِيثَارَتِي لِلنَّوْحِ، وَمِزْمَارِي لِصَوْتِ النَّادِبِينَ.

Lyren bliver kun brugt til klagesange, fløjten spiller kun sørgelige strofer.

Meine Laute spielt ein Trauerlied,meine Flöte eine Melodie der Klage.«

Ma lyre ne sert plus |que pour des airs funèbres,ma flûte n’accompagne |que le chant des pleureurs.

Nangin masubo ang sunata sang akon arpa kag plawta.”

喜びと楽しみの歌は、もはや嘆きの声となった。

한때는 [a]수금과 피리 소리를 듣던 내가 이제는 탄식과 통곡의 소리만 듣게 되었구나.”

Mijn blijde en opgewekte stem klinkt nu als de stem van een rouwende.’

Minha harpa está afinada para cantos fúnebres,e minha flauta para o som de pranto.

A minha harpa e a minha flauta, que antes se ouviam à minha volta,tornaram-se agora em tristes lamentações.

Lira îmi este instrument de jale, iar fluierul meu scoate sunete de plâns.

เสียงพิณของข้ากลายเป็นเสียงคร่ำครวญและเสียงปี่ของข้ากลายเป็นเสียงโหยไห้

我的琴唱出哀乐，我的箫奏出悲鸣。

所 以 ， 我 的 琴 音 变 为 悲 音 ； 我 的 箫 声 变 为 哭 声 。

我的琴唱出哀樂，我的簫奏出悲鳴。
