Jeremiah 42:18

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “As My anger and My wrath have been poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so My wrath will be poured out on you when you enter Egypt. You will become detested, an object of horror, a curse and a people scorned; and you will no longer see this place.”

For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall see this place no more.

“This is the Message from God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel: ‘In the same way that I swept the citizens of Jerusalem away with my anger and wrath, I’ll do the same thing all over again in Egypt. You’ll end up being cursed, reviled, ridiculed, and mocked. And you’ll never see your homeland again.’ 19-20 “God has plainly told you, you leftovers from Judah, ‘Don’t go to Egypt.’ Could anything be plainer? I warn you this day that you are living out a fantasy. You’re making a fatal mistake.“Didn’t you just now send me to your God, saying, ‘Pray for us to our God. Tell us everything that God says and we’ll do it all’? 21-22 “Well, now I’ve told you, told you everything he said, and you haven’t obeyed a word of it, not a single word of what your God sent me to tell you. So now let me tell you what will happen next: You’ll be killed, you’ll starve to death, you’ll get sick and die in the wonderful country where you’ve determined to go and live.”

For thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “As My anger and wrath have been poured out on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so My wrath will be poured out on you when you enter Egypt. And you will become a curse, an object of horror, an imprecation and a reproach; and you will see this place no more.”

He is the Lord who rules over all. He is the God of Israel. He says, ‘My great anger has been poured out on those who used to live in Jerusalem. In the same way, it will be poured out on you when you go to Egypt. People will use your name in a curse. They will be shocked at you. They will say bad things about you. And they will say you are shameful. You will never see this place again.’

This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: ‘As my anger and wrath have been poured out on those who lived in Jerusalem, so will my wrath be poured out on you when you go to Egypt. You will be a curse[b] and an object of horror, a curse[c] and an object of reproach; you will never see this place again.’

You will be an object of damnation, horror, cursing, and mockery. And you will never see your homeland again.’

لأَنَّ هَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ. كَمَا انْسَكَبَ غَضَبِي وَسُخْطِي عَلَى أَهْلِ أُورُشَلِيمَ، كَذَلِكَ يَنْسَكِبُ سُخْطِي عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا ذَهَبْتُمْ إِلَى مِصْرَ، فَتُصْبِحُونَ مَثَارَ سُبَّةٍ وَدَهْشَةٍ وَلَعْنَةٍ وَعَارٍ، وَلا تَعُودُونَ تَرَوْنَ هَذَا المَوْضِعَ».

Herren, den Almægtige, Israels Gud, siger: På samme måde som jeg i min vrede straffede Jerusalems indbyggere, vil jeg straffe jer, så snart I ankommer til Egypten. I vil blive afskyet og hadet, forbandet og hånet, og I kommer aldrig hjem til jeres land igen.”

Ja, ich, der Herr, der allmächtige Gott Israels, kündige euch an: Wie mein glühender Zorn die Einwohner von Jerusalem getroffen hat, so wird er auch euch treffen, wenn ihr nach Ägypten zieht. Man wird entsetzt sein über euer Schicksal, ihr werdet verhöhnt und verachtet. Wer einen anderen verfluchen will, wünscht ihm das gleiche Unglück, das ihr erlitten habt. Eure Heimat seht ihr dann nie wieder!«

Porque así dice el Señor Todopoderoso, el Dios de Israel: “Así como se ha derramado mi ira y mi furor sobre los habitantes de Jerusalén, así se derramará mi furor sobre vosotros si os vais a Egipto. Os convertiréis en objeto de maldición, de horror, de imprecación y de oprobio, y nunca más volveréis a ver este lugar”.

Porque así dice el Señor Todopoderoso, el Dios de Israel: “Así como se ha derramado mi ira y mi furor sobre los habitantes de Jerusalén, así se derramará mi furor sobre ustedes si se van a Egipto. Se convertirán en objeto de maldición, de horror, de imprecación y de oprobio, y nunca más volverán a ver este lugar”.

Voici ce que déclare le Seigneur des armées célestes, Dieu d’Israël : Comme ma colère et ma fureur se sont déversées sur les habitants de Jérusalem, ainsi mon courroux se déversera sur vous quand vous vous rendrez en Egypte. La dévastation fondra sur vous et vous serez en proie à la malédiction, aux imprécations et à l’opprobre, et vous ne reverrez plus jamais ce pays.

“Amo pa gid ini ang ginasiling sang Ginoo nga Makagagahom, ang Dios sang Israel, ‘Subong nga ang akon puwerte nga kaakig ginpaagom ko sa katawhan sang Jerusalem, ipaagom ko man ang akon kaakig sa inyo kon magkadto kamo sa Egipto. Pakamalauton kamo kag kangil-aran sang mga tawo. Pakalainon nila kamo kag yagutaon, kag indi na gid kamo makabalik sa inyo duta.’

イスラエルの神である天の軍勢の主は、こう断言します。『わたしの怒りと憤りは、エルサレムの住民に注がれたように、エジプトへ行った者にも注がれる。おまえたちは侮られ、憎まれ、のろわれ、ののしられる。しかも、二度と祖国を見ることはできない。

“전능하신 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 또 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. ‘내가 예루살렘 주민들에게 나의 분노를 쏟았다. 너희가 만일 이집트로 가면 내가 너희에게도 나의 분노를 쏟아 버리겠다. 그러면 너희가 저주와 증오와 치욕의 대상이 되고 다시는 이 땅을 보지 못할 것이다.’

Serão ali recebidos com repugnância e ódio; amaldiçoar-vos-ão e serão ultrajados; nunca mais verão a vossa terra natal.’

„Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Oştirilor, Dumnezeul lui Israel: «După cum mânia şi furia Mea s-au revărsat asupra locuitorilor Ierusalimului, tot aşa se va revărsa furia Mea peste voi când vă veţi duce în Egipt. Veţi fi o pricină de scârbă şi de groază, o pricină de blestem şi de dispreţ; nu veţi mai vedea niciodată locul acesta.»

För så säger härskarornas Herre, Israels Gud: ’På samma sätt som min vrede och mitt raseri uttömdes över Jerusalems invånare, så ska mitt raseri tömmas ut över er om ni går till Egypten. Ni ska bli till förbannelse och förskräckelse, fördömelse och förakt, och aldrig mer återse denna plats.’
