Jeremiah 41:8

But ten men who were among them said to Ishmael, “Do not kill us! We have stores of wheat and barley and oil and honey hidden in the field.” So he stopped and did not kill them along with their companions.

إِلّا أَنَّ عَشَرَةَ رِجَالٍ كَانُوا بَيْنَهُمْ قَالُوا لإِسْمَعِيلَ: «لا تَقْتُلْنَا لأَنَّ لَدَيْنَا مُؤَناً مِنْ قَمْحٍ وَشَعِيرٍ وَزَيْتٍ وَعَسَلٍ خَبَّأْنَاهَا فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ» فَلَمْ يَقْتُلْهُمْ.

De tien overige mannen wisten hun leven te redden door Ismaël te beloven dat hij hun rijke voorraden tarwe, gerst, olie en honing, die zij ergens in het open veld hadden verstopt, zou krijgen.
