Jeremiah 36:9

Now in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, a fast was proclaimed before the Lord for all the people in Jerusalem and all the people who came to Jerusalem from the cities of Judah.

And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the Lord to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.

It came about in December of the fifth year of Jehoiakim son of Josiah king of Judah that all the people of Jerusalem, along with all the people from the Judean villages, were there in Jerusalem to observe a fast to God.

Now in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, in the ninth month, all the people in Jerusalem and all the people who came from the cities of Judah to Jerusalem proclaimed a fast before the Lord.

It was in the fifth year that Jehoiakim, the son of Josiah, was king of Judah. It was the ninth month of that year. A time of fasting at the Lord’s temple had been ordered. All the people in Jerusalem were told to take part in it. So were those who had come in from the towns of Judah.

وَفِي الشَّهْرِ التَّاسِعِ مِنَ السَّنَةِ الْخَامِسَةِ لِحُكْمِ يَهُويَاقِيمَ بْنِ يُوشِيَّا مَلِكِ يَهُوذَا، تَنَادَى كُلُّ أَهْلِ أُورُشَلِيمَ وَكُلُّ الشَّعْبِ الْقَادِمِ مِنْ مُدُنِ يَهُوذَا إِلَى أُورُشَلِيمَ لِلصَّوْمِ أَمَامَ الرَّبِّ.

Im 9. Monat des 5. Regierungsjahres von Jojakim, dem Sohn von Josia, hatte man nämlich das ganze Volk zum Fasten aufgerufen, um den Herrn um Gnade zu bitten. Viele Menschen aus Jerusalem und den anderen Städten Judas waren dazu in den Tempel gekommen.

Dit gebeurde op de vastendag in de negende maand van het vijfde regeringsjaar van koning Jojakim, de zoon van Josia, toen mensen uit heel Juda naar de tempel waren gekomen om de diensten bij te wonen.

I Jojakims, Josias sons, Juda kungs, femte regeringsår, i den nionde månaden var en fasta utlyst inför Herren för allt folket i Jerusalem och dem som kom från Juda städer.
