Jeremiah 33:5

‘While they (the besieged Jews) are coming to fight against the Chaldeans and to fill the houses with the dead bodies of men whom I have slain in My anger and in My wrath, for I have hidden My face [in disgust] from this city because of all their wickedness.

They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.

That was during their fight with the armies of Babylon. The Lord says, “The houses will be filled with dead bodies. They will be the bodies of the people I will kill. I will kill them when I am very angry with them. I will hide my face from this city. That’s because its people have committed so many sins.

فِي الْقِتَالِ النَّاشِبِ مَعَ الْكَلْدَانِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ سَيَمْلأُونَ الْمُدُنَ بِجُثَثِ الْقَتْلَى الَّذِينَ ضَرَبْتُهُمْ فِي احْتِدَامِ غَضَبِي وَغَيْظِي، لأَنِّي قَدْ حَجَبْتُ وَجْهِي عَنْ هَذِهِ الْمَدِينَةِ لِشَرِّهِمْ.

toch zullen de Babyloniërs binnenkomen. Alle huizen van deze stad zullen vol liggen met de lijken van de mannen van wie ik besloten heb hen in mijn vreselijke toorn te vernietigen. Ik heb Mij afgekeerd van deze stad om haar goddeloosheid en zal geen medelijden tonen als zij om hulp schreeuwt.

om dem som har kommit hit för att strida mot kaldéerna: ’De ska fyllas med döda kroppar av de människor som jag dödat i min vrede och förbittring. Jag har dolt mitt ansikte för denna stad för all deras ondskas skull.

城中的人与迦勒底人争战只会使自己的房屋堆满死尸，因为我要在愤怒中毁灭他们。他们作恶多端，我必掩面不理这城。
