Genesis 31:40

This was my situation: by day the heat consumed me and by night the cold, and [h]I could not sleep.

Thus I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from mine eyes.

And what was my life like? The heat burned me in the daytime. And it was so cold at night that I froze. I couldn’t sleep.

Jag har arbetat för dig under dagens brännande hetta och under kalla, sömnlösa nätter.
