So Laban went into Jacob’s tent and into Leah’s tent and the tent of the two maids, but he did not find them. Then he came out of Leah’s tent and entered Rachel’s tent.

فَدَخَلَ لابَانُ خَيْمَةَ كُلٍّ مِنْ يَعْقُوبَ وَلَيْئَةَ وَالْجَارِيَتَيْنِ فَلَمْ يَجِدْ شَيْئاً. ثُمَّ خَرَجَ مِنْ خِبَاءِ لَيْئَةَ وَدَخَلَ إِلَى خَيْمَةِ رَاحِيلَ.

Laban begyndte eftersøgningen i Jakobs telt. Så fortsatte han i Leas og i de to tjenestepigers telte—uden at finde noget. Til sidst kom han til Rakels telt.

Laban doorzocht eerst Jakobs tent, daarna die van Lea en toen die van de twee bijvrouwen, maar hij vond niets. Als laatste doorzocht hij Rachels tent.

Então Labão entrou na tenda de Jacó, e nas tendas de Lia e de suas duas servas, mas nada encontrou. Depois de sair da tenda de Lia, entrou na tenda de Raquel.
