Ezra 9:14

shall we again break Your commandments and intermarry with the peoples who practice these repulsive acts? Would You not be angry with us to the point of total destruction, so that there would be no remnant nor survivor?

Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?

Suppose we don’t obey your commands again. And suppose we continue to marry people who commit sins that you hate. If we do, you will be so angry with us that you will destroy us. You won’t leave us even a few people. You won’t leave anyone alive.

أَنَعُودُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ وَنَتَعَدَّى عَلَى وَصَايَاكَ وَنُنَاسِبُ الأُمَمَ الَّذِينَ يَرْتَكِبُونَ هَذِهِ الرَّجَاسَاتِ؟ أَلا تَسْخَطُ عَلَيْنَا آنَئِذٍ حَتَّى تُفْنِيَنَا فَلا تَبْقَى مِنَّا بَقِيَّةٌ وَلا تَكُونُ لَنَا نَجَاةٌ؟

Men nu har vi igen overtrådt dine befalinger ved at gifte os med folk, som praktiserer afskyelige ting. Vil du nu i din vrede tilintetgøre os fuldstændigt, så der ikke bliver nogen rest tilbage?

Wie konnten wir nur aufs Neue deine Gebote mit Füßen treten und uns mit diesen heidnischen Völkern einlassen? Muss dich da nicht der Zorn packen, bis du uns ganz vernichtet hast, bis niemand von uns mehr übrig bleibt?

Alors, après cela, pouvons-nous recommencer à transgresser tes commandements et à nous allier par mariage à des gens de ces peuples qui se livrent à des pratiques si abominables ? Ne vas-tu pas t’enflammer de colère contre nous au point de nous exterminer, sans nous laisser ni reste ni rescapés ?

こうして帰国してみれば、またまたあなたの命令に背き、忌むべきことを行う民と結婚しています。今度こそ、このひと握りの生き残りの者さえも、あなたの怒りによって滅ぼし尽くされることでしょう。

그런데도 우리가 다시 주의 명령을 어기고 이 악한 백성들과 결혼하였으니 어찌 주께서 우리에게 분노하시지 않겠습니까? 분명히 주는 우리를 전멸시키고 한 사람도 살아 남지 못하게 하실 것입니다.

Maar nu hebben wij opnieuw uw geboden overtreden! Wij hebben huwelijken gesloten met mensen die gruwelijke dingen doen. U zult nu opnieuw toornig worden, zodat U ons allemaal vernietigt en niemand laat ontkomen.

como podemos voltar a quebrar os teus mandamentos e a realizar casamentos mistos com esses povos de práticas repugnantes? Como não ficarias irado conosco, não nos destruirias, e não nos deixarias sem remanescente ou sobrevivente algum?

desobedecemos novamente aos teus mandamentos, e permitimos casamentos com gente que pratica coisas abomináveis. Certamente que a tua ira nos destruirá ao ponto de nem este remanescente escapar.

Skulle vi då på nytt bryta mot dina bud och gifta in oss bland dessa folk som har sådana avskyvärda seder? Skulle du då inte bli så vred på oss att du utplånade oss, så att ingen blev kvar och överlevde?

ก็แล้วข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายยังจะละเมิดพระบัญชาของพระองค์ และไปแต่งงานกับชนชาติที่ยึดถือธรรมเนียมปฏิบัติอันน่าชิงชังเช่นนั้นอีกหรือ? มีหรือที่พระองค์จะไม่ทรงพระพิโรธจนทำลายล้างข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายไม่ให้เหลือรอดแม้แต่คนหยิบมือเดียว?

我们岂能再违背你的诫命，与这些行为可憎的人通婚？若我们这样行，你岂不发怒毁灭我们，使我们无一幸免吗？

我 们 岂 可 再 违 背 你 的 命 令 ， 与 这 行 可 憎 之 事 的 民 结 亲 呢 ？ 若 这 样 行 ， 你 岂 不 向 我 们 发 怒 ， 将 我 们 灭 绝 ， 以 致 没 有 一 个 剩 下 逃 脱 的 人 吗 ？

我們豈能再違背你的誡命，與這些行為可憎的人通婚？若我們這樣行，你豈不發怒毀滅我們，使我們無一倖免嗎？
