Ezra 8:17

And I sent them to Iddo, the leading man at the place Casiphia, telling them what to say to Iddo and his brothers, the temple servants at the place Casiphia, that is, to bring us servants (ministers) for the house of our God.

And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.

وَأَرْسَلْتُهُمْ إِلَى الرَّئِيسِ إِدُّو السَّاكِنِ فِي كَسِفْيَا، بَعْدَ أَنْ لَقَّنْتُهُمْ مَا يُخَاطِبُونَ بِهِ إِدُّو وَأَقْرِبَاءَهُ خُدَّامَ الْهَيْكَلِ الْمُقِيمِينَ فِي كَسِفْيَا، لِيَأْتُوا لَنَا بِخُدَّامٍ يَقُومُونَ بِأَعْمَالِ خِدْمَةِ هَيْكَلِ إِلَهِنَا.

Jeg sendte dem til levitternes leder Iddo i byen Kasifja for at anmode ham og hans klansfæller om at sende os medarbejdere til Guds tempel i Jerusalem.

Je leur demandai de se rendre chez Iddo, le chef de la localité de Kasiphia[d], et je leur indiquai ce qu’ils devaient lui dire, à lui et à ses collaborateurs, les desservants du Temple qui se trouvaient à Kasiphia, pour nous envoyer des assistants pour le temple de notre Dieu.

Sedan sände jag dem till Iddo, ledaren för en plats vid namn Kasifja, och redogjorde för dem ordagrant vad de skulle säga till Iddo och hans bröder och tempeltjänarna i Kasifja, för att de skulle sända oss tjänare till vår Guds hus.
