Ezra 7:14

For you are sent by the king and his seven advisers to inquire about Judah and Jerusalem in accordance with the Law of your God, which is in your hand,

Forasmuch as thou art sent of the king, and of his seven counsellors, to enquire concerning Judah and Jerusalem, according to the law of thy God which is in thine hand;

Efter samråd med mine syv rådgivere udpeger jeg dig til officielt at undersøge forholdene i Juda og Jerusalem med henblik på at opfylde din Guds lov, som du tager med dig i afskrift.
