Ezra 4:14

Now because we are in the service of the palace, and it is not proper for us to witness the king’s dishonor, for that reason we have sent word and informed the king,

We owe a lot to you. We don’t want to see dishonor brought on you. So we’re sending this letter to tell you what is going on.

وَمِنْ حَيْثُ أَنَّنَا نَقْتَاتُ مِنْ خَيْرِ الْمَلِكِ، فَلا يَلِيقُ بِنَا أَنْ نَرَى مَا يُصِيبُ الْمَلِكَ مِنْ ضَرَرٍ وَنَسْكُتَ عَنْهُ، لِذَلِكَ أَرْسَلْنَا نُبَلِّغُكَ،

Eftersom vi er loyale undersåtter og ikke ønsker, at kongen skal lide tab, sender vi denne information.

Weil wir aber treue Untertanen und dem König verpflichtet sind,[c] können wir nicht länger mit ansehen, wie die Macht des Königs untergraben wird. Darum erstatten wir Bericht und schlagen vor:

황제 폐하의 큰 은혜를 입고 있는 우리는 이런 불미스러운 일이 일어나는 것을 차마 볼 수가 없어서 이 사실을 황제 폐하께 알려 드립니다.
