Ezekiel 32:24

“[a]Elam [a conquest of Assyria] is there and all her hordes around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who have gone down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, who made their terror spread in the land of the living and bore their shame and defeat with those who went down to the pit.

There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.

“Elam is there and all her hordes around her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who went down uncircumcised to the lower parts of the earth, who instilled their terror in the land of the living and bore their disgrace with those who went down to the pit.

“Elam is also there. Its huge armies lie around the grave of its king. All those who spread terror while they were alive are now dead. They were killed by swords. They had not been circumcised. They went down into the earth below. Their shame is like the shame of others who go down into the grave.

“Elam is there, with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are slain, fallen by the sword. All who had spread terror in the land of the living went down uncircumcised to the earth below. They bear their shame with those who go down to the pit.

“Elam lies there surrounded by the graves of all its hordes, those who were slaughtered by the sword. They struck terror in the hearts of people everywhere, but now they have descended as outcasts to the world below. Now they lie in the pit and share the shame of those who have gone before them.

وَهُنَاكَ أَيْضاً عِيلامُ وَحُلَفَاؤُهَا بِأَسْرِهِمْ يُحِيطُونَ بِقَبْرِهَا. جَمِيعُهُمْ غُلْفٌ صَرْعَى السَّيْفِ. هَبَطُوا إِلَى الأَرْضِ السُّفْلَى، أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ أَشَاعُوا الرُّعْبَ فِي أَرْضِ الأَحْيَاءِ، فَحَمَلُوا عَارَهُمْ مَعَ الْمُنْحَدِرِينَ إِلَى الْجُبِّ.

Là est couché Elam[d] |et toute sa population,ses tombes sont tout autour d’elle.Tous sont tombésblessés à mort |sous les coups de l’épée.Les voilà descendus, |peuple d’incirconcis,au séjour souterrain,eux qui répandaient la terreur |dedans le monde des vivants,et ils portent sur eux |leur déshonneuravec tous ceux |qui sont descendus dans la fosse.

“Didto man ang hari sang Elam. Napalibutan ang iya lulubngan sang lulubngan sang iya katawhan. Nagkalamatay sila tanan sa inaway. Nagpanaog sila didto sa lugar sang mga patay upod sa iban nga mga wala nagtuo sa Dios. Sang buhi pa sila ginpahadlok nila ang mga tawo sa ila, pero subong ginpakahuy-an sila upod sa iban nga mga nagkalamatay.

エラムの大王たちも、その民とともにそこに横たわっている。生前、彼らは国々をさんざん荒らし回った。しかし今では、落ちぶれて地獄に横たわっている。その終わりは、普通の人間と少しも変わらない。

Ook Elam ligt daar met zijn onderdanen. Tijdens hun leven boezemden zij de volken angst in, maar nu liggen zij daar, onrein in het dodenrijk, hun schandelijk lot is gelijk aan dat van de gewone mensen.

Där ligger Elam med hela sin här runt omkring hans grav. Alla är de dräpta, fallna för svärd. Oomskurna for de ner i jordens djup, dessa som spred skräck i de levandes land. Nu får de bära skammen med de andra som farit ner i graven.
