Ezekiel 25:8

‘Thus says the Lord God, “Because [b]Moab and Seir (Edom) say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the [pagan] nations,’

Thus saith the Lord God; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;

‘Thus says the Lord God, “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’

The Lord and King says, “Moab and Edom said, ‘Look! Judah has become like all the other nations.’

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because Moab and Seir said, “Look, Judah has become like all the other nations,”

‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: “Because Moab and Seir said, ‘Look, Judah has become like all the other nations,’

“This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Because the people of Moab[a] have said that Judah is just like all the other nations,

وَهَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ: لأَنَّ الْمُوآبِيِّينَ وَأَهْلَ سَعِيرَ يَقُولُونَ: هَلْ شَعْبُ يَهُوذَا كَبَقِيَّةِ الأُمَمِ.

Herren siger: Moabitterne påstår ligesom edomitterne, at Judas folk er som alle andre folk. 9-10 Derfor åbner jeg Moabs østgrænse, så landets stolte byer, Bet-Jeshimot, Ba’al-Meon og Kirjatajim går tabt. Dem giver jeg til ørkenbeduinerne fra øst, som strømmer ind i landet, ligesom de gør i Ammon. Moab bliver udslettet som nation og folk.

神である主はこう語ります。「モアブ人は、『ユダの国も他の国と変わらないではないか』と言った。 9-10 それゆえ、わたしはモアブの東の国境を開け放ち、モアブ人が誇りとしているベテ・ハエシモテ、バアル・メオン、キルヤタイムの町々を掃討する。東の荒野から来るベドウィン族が、アモン人に対するようにモアブにもなだれ込む。モアブは国々の間から抹消される運命にある。
