Ezekiel 18:24

“But when the righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits sin and acts in accordance with all the repulsive things that the wicked man does, will he live? All of his righteous deeds which he has done will not be remembered because of the treachery that he has committed and for his sin which he has committed; for them he shall die.

But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

“The same thing goes for a good person who turns his back on an upright life and starts sinning, plunging into the same vile obscenities that the wicked person practices. Will this person live? I don’t keep a list of all the things this person did right, like money in the bank he can draw on. Because of his defection, because he accumulates sin, he’ll die. 25-28 “Do I hear you saying, ‘That’s not fair! God’s not fair!’?“Listen, Israel. I’m not fair? You’re the ones who aren’t fair! If a good person turns away from his good life and takes up sinning, he’ll die for it. He’ll die for his own sin. None of the righteous things that person has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness they are guilty of and because of the sins they have committed, they will die.

وَإذَا تَحَوَّلَ الصِّدِّيقُ عَنْ بِرِّهِ وَارْتَكَبَ إِثْماً عَلَى غِرَارِ كُلِّ الرَّجَاسَاتِ الَّتِي يَرْتَكِبُهَا الشِّرِّيرُ، أَفَيَحْيَا؟ إِنَّ كُلَّ مَا صَنَعَهُ مِنْ بِرٍّ لَا يُذْكَرُ لَهُ. إِنَّمَا يَمُوتُ بِخِيَانَتِهِ الَّتِي خَانَهَا، وَمَا اقْتَرَفَهُ مِنْ خَطَايَا.

Men hvis retskafne mennesker begynder at synde og gøre alle de afskyelige ting, som de onde mennesker gør, så vil al deres tidligere godhed være glemt, og de skal dø som straf for deres troløshed og synd.

だが、正しい人が罪を犯し、ほかの悪者と同じことをするなら、そのような者を生かしておけるだろうか。もちろん、生かしておくわけにはいかない。これまでの正しい行いはすべて忘れられ、その罪のために死ななければならない。

“그러나 만일 의로운 자가 그의 의로운 길에서 떠나 범죄하고 악인이 행하는 모든 더러운 일을 행하면 살겠느냐? 그가 행한 의로운 일은 하나도 기억되지 않을 것이며 그의 신실하지 못함과 그가 범한 죄 때문에 그는 죽게 될 것이다.

Maar als een rechtvaardig mens gaat zondigen en zich gedraagt als iedere andere zondaar, zal hij dan blijven leven? Nee, uiteraard niet. Al zijn vroegere rechtvaardigheid zal worden vergeten en hij zal sterven wegens zijn zonden.

Tot astfel, dacă cel drept se întoarce de la dreptatea lui şi săvârşeşte nedreptate, asemenea tuturor urâciunilor săvârşite de cel rău, va trăi el oare? Men om en rättfärdig vänder om från sin rättfärdighet och börjar göra det som är orätt och begår samma avskyvärda handlingar som den gudlöse, ska han då tillåtas leva? All hans tidigare rättfärdighet kommer att bli bortglömd, och för sin trolöshet som han gjort sig skyldig till och för sin synd som han begått ska han dö.

义人若弃善行恶，与恶人同流合污，这人岂能活着？他从前的义行不会被记念，他必因自己的背信和罪恶而灭亡。
